Ah I remember the chicken shop, the chicken was bloody awful, BUT they did great pizza for a pound! (well as great as any pizza for a pound is going to be). We were regular visitors when 3 of us were sharing a flat on Barry Road and drinking ourselves almost out of work! Happy Daze! :)-D

So why does The Bishop get away with it? They are only a couple of doors away, and open at the back til 10 I think.

Just to be picky, it was a school (St John's & St Clement's) not a church. It moved to it's current location in approx 94/95, I remember a friend and I doing some work experience there when we were 6th formers, and it was early days on the new site. The part of the building directly opposite The Drum was my infants class.

Well I still think he has a good future in front of him, but maybe not at Spurs... I was chatting to a big spurs fan at work, and he said he'd heard lots of rumours that Defoe is a horrid little git, so maybe it was a personality thing. Just to clarify, am I right in saying that he's only at Pompey on loan for the time being?

I thought they were talking about opening another floor or going out back, but never happened. On a similar thread, I popped in to Black Cherry on Saturday evening, and they had fliers on the tables saying they'd been turned down for permission to have outdoor drinking at the back, and they say they are the only bar to have been. The Bishop has an area out back, so I don't see why the cherry can't. Would be nice to take your cocktail outside for a fag and not have to watch the traffic go by.

I feel awful today, but it's entirely self inflicted!

For some reason my old American DVD player just refused point blank to play disk 2 of series 2, so had to skip to disk 3. Thought it would be terrible to miss 2 episodes, but to be honest I don't think I missed a lot, as picked it straight back up.

I know Atila, happy with a point, but agree with Rafa that really it's 2 points dropped as we could have won the match. MOTD2 slated it last night, but I didn't think it was too bad a game. Great weekend for Arsenal if they can capitalise tonight!
