  1. Is the Lloyds often empty then?
  2. Plus they're only replacing 3 storeys with 3 storeys, so no biggie (see what I did there).

He's not really good enough, but no one is at the moment, so I guess it's the best of a not great bunch. Carson will be the man in a couple of years time! 2 die hard Charlton fans I work with can't praise him enough, without him they would have been relegated a lot earlier last season. He's also had a bit of champs league experience with Liverpool, and really shouldn't have been blamed so much for the goal conceded to Juve a couple of years back. Just hope he gets a permanent move to a good club (not Villa), as I can't see him getting a regular spot at Liverpool (which is a shame, but Reina is good).
  4. Will do... If I'm in ED, then it'll more than likely be the CPT... Just for a change :)-D

Hmm, Australia haven't been at their best, but England would need to play the best rugby they've played in a long time (about 4 years perhaps) if they want to get through Saturday. Final will be NZ, SA... Would love to see the Pumas get through though, always nice to see an "underdog" (rated 4th in the world) win things.
  6. Ha, yeah pretty much... Well to be fair, it's probably about half way between Balham and Clapham Common stations. Just checked footy fixtures, and there are only 2 games on Saturday Man U will clash with the rugby, but can't see that causing any issues, so rugby should be on in most places.
  7. I'm a regular, and couldn't give a toss. What do you think then?
  8. Agree with Mockney, either of those should be fine, but EDT might be a safer bet. Depends on footy really, there are some fans of a certain club in blue who drink in the CPT, and will cry if anything else is shown. Took me ages to get Liverpool on the TV in there last year because they clashed in the Champs League, and I'd always forget to ask... Had sweet revenge in the semis though ;-) As for me, I'm not sure yet, considering going over to an Australian friend's (former CPT manager) pub in Clapham which gets rammed for the rugby.
  9. Remember having fish n' chips in Whitby a few years back because my then girlfriend who was from up that way assured me they'd be the best I'd ever had... What a load of bo!!ocks, best come from Cornwall and Devon. Have to say, big a fan as I am of Sems, I wish they'd move those huge bins round the back, or pay a private company to empty them more regularly. They can bloody stink, and it doesn't really encourage me to buy my dinner from there.

Sounds good to me, go out for a jolly up with your mates, roll in when you like, and get treated like a king. And you wonder why they go missing... Seriously, glad he turned up safe and well.
  11. We have a lovely chip shop on Sydenham High Street. Similar in quality to Sems I'd say, but they have a bigger selection on the menu which is a blessing if like me, you don't like fish.
  12. I didn't see it either, but all the players running to Jol after the equaliser will probably have bought him another game. Maybe they'll just keep him til the summer when the special one will take charge...
  13. Spurs take a lead and let it go again... Still another 45 minutes, come on boys.
  14. Mrs Keef makes a fine houmous, but I have to admit I'm a sucker for the (full fat) red pepper stuff!
  15. I love that episode! Features The Smashing Pumpkins too >:D
  16. I swear Arsenal fans are the cockiest fans in the country once they've won a couple of games on the trot! Look forward to seeing them in 4th (or 5th if there is a God) at the end of the season.
  17. Damn it, I've never been offered drugs in the blue brick cafe... Will have to try and look harder/more deperate next time.

    Free music?

If they're by Radiohead I'd say a quid should cover the lot.
  19. Jah please tell me you didn't listen when he said "don't go to the pub tonight, give us the money"... I'm relying on you man. (I was too little to be going to the pub, but had I been older, that very sentence would have had me reaching for my coat).
  20. Journeys to Liverpool should be done stricly by train, road trip can be a nightmare if Birmingham has anything to do with it!
  21. Myself and Anna both went for 2-1 Jah, think you guys should win this evening...
  22. Superb!
  23. Go Sean Go!
  24. Where they meet the team that knocked Ireland out, and beat France... Will be a tough one! Stand a chance though, which is more than can be said for England against the aussies, although I expect them to play better than they did against South Africa.
  25. I have to say that there are loads of places I still want to see in the UK... I've never been up to Scotland, and I really want to go to the lakes. Cornwall is my favourite part of the country, absolutely beautiful coast! That said, when you get summers like the one we just sort of had, you understand why people want to get overseas!
