  1. I'm probably a bit more shy in person, but still there have been so many photos of nights out, and so many random meetings that there's not a lot of point posting under a different name. Brendan Keef Mockney Piers Ant Mark Michael P Polly D Georgia Annasfield To name but a few, are al brave and open... Trustworthy you might even say :-S
  2. That is grim, and I was a big routmaster fan... However it made me think about this story from 4 years ago. I do miss being able to run and jump on a bus at the traffic lights though.
  3. Look see, we can all get along if we're not talking about jacking up ;-)
  4. I have just seen this. I did as Jah says, set mine up in work one day for something to pass the time (I do have a lot of work that I could be doing, but you know). I have since done nothing to it, but may push on... I shall take the link away for the time being though, because if I'm not writing anything it seems pointless *ahem Huguenot*. I'm not after fame, not from a blog anyway (musician perhaps, but aint gonna happen). Dulwichmum's is really well written, and good luck to her with the book(s), I think they'll do well. The more interesting thing for me is the fact that I'm not posting anonymously. I have considered asking admin to change my name, as I do feel a bit exposed at times, and can't always slag off the people I want to because they might come and get me... I'll let you know if I do any more blogging....
  5. Last night I watched the episode of The Sopranos that I recorded on Sunday night (because Mrs Keef went to bed so I watched MOTD2). Very good it was too.
  6. And The Sopranos, which is almost over *sniff*... It was so good this weekend, and only 3 more episodes to go!!!!
  7. Yeah good work Sean & Mockers! Bellenden Belle Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hee hee - I've always worried I'm too, erm, nice - so I am thrilled to be cast as "a nasty piece of > work". I feel I suddenly have a whole new dimension to my character! Damn it, I want to be nasty... In a completely unperverse way you understand... :-S Er... I'm off again.
  8. Not been in WS yet, do they do decent shirts? I have my wedding suit, and shoes sorted, but need a nice shirt, and all the ones I keep seeing are jsut sh!te that you expect to see city bankers or chav estate agents wearing... If not WS, any suggestions on where to get nice (not not tooooo expensive) shirts? I don't have one, but I see no harm in "man bags"... I personally prefer a record bag though, it tends to do pretty much the same job (less the umbrella) ;-)
  9. atila the gooner Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > "Champions League? You're 'avin' a larf". Better that than to be in it year after year after year after year only to lose. Simon, as I have said many times before, any Liverpool fan will have been let down by "promising teams" so many times over the years, that I don't think we let ourselves get too carried away... Things cold change, but I can't see us at the top of the league come May... Unlike your average Arsenal fan who thinks they've got everything won because they're playing well at the moment... At least Liverpool have won a worthwhile European cup... a few times ;-) Could be wrong, but I think Spurs may have done so more recently than Arsenal too...
  10. He's making money, good on him. There are far worse people out there for putting their face on anything that will pay them! Sharon Osbourne shopping in Asda... I think not!
  11. Er, he does ;-)
  12. scor46 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The pubs are crap in ED though mainly through no fault of the landlords.. Although in this particular case, he seems to do everything in his power to make it worse! You make fair points, but I think it's a bit harsh to say "the pubs are crap in ED". There's definitely room for improvement, but they're not all bad.
  13. Only just read this thread. I basically agree with everything Mockney said in his first post... Just so long as they keep hold of Match of the Day I'm happy... Oh, and love Radio 4. Agree that they should be above the whole reality TV rubbish.
  14. You're probably right Snorky.
  15. *Sniggers* Surprised Peckham Rye is in there, there are far far worse stations, ED being one of them!

    Why did Gordon?

10 years he's been waiting, like he was ever going to risk giving it up after a few months! Think he deserves some time to show us what he's about..
  18. Jah Lush Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Gonna try and make it for a while myself but am rather skint > at the moment so we'll see. What he said.
  19. Jah Lush Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Should have won the game at Anfield > but ended up holding on and conceding in the dying > seconds...bloody typical. That is a fair point, but Liverpool could have been 3-1 up at half time if they'd taken their chances / the goal was an inch wider, so a draw seems pretty fair really. Better result for your lot though ;-)

Yeah I was all ready to jump in to the council housing bit, then read back from the start and now I'm confused. I do want to say though that despite the fact I completely disagree with Spangles viewpoint, I don't think she's been nasty. I disagree with her, but I'll sleep well tonight knowing that she has her opinions... I won't be so restfull over courts in Iran or Robert Mugabe! Anyway, I'll shut up and go back to the football thread, I know what I'm talking about there.
  21. I'm hoping to be there for a bit...
  22. No no Jah, a friend was buying me shots during the actual match, I kept on looking up to find another one on the bar in front of me. That's why the previous evening caught up so quickly! Hurrah :)-D

For the record, it was Sainsburys, and it was more than 12 years ago. Also, they weren't cheapo butchers, they were normal butchers like any other butcher of the time. 24. Annoyingly they filmed it really early in the morning with good looking extras, so we didn't get our faces on telly... Not even the staff were allowed to be in it! I never saw it though as I was rather drunk, the previous evening having caught up on me by the time I'd had a couple of pints and the evil shots some git was buying me!!!
  25. Ha, fair point... Wasn't exactly planning a mohican, but too conservative genuinely doesn't suit me.
