Do either of then sell really cheap rubbish electric guitars? Have always wanted to trash one at a gig, but obviously my Les Paul deserves more respect! Also I'll need to trash it against someone else's amp, as mine is just too fine for that! ;-)

I have a colleague who has done the same as Mogs, kept maiden at work.... She has told me that she thinks her married name is common, which might explain it ;-)

Mrs Keef will be keeping her own name, but taking on the Mrs when she becomes the real Mrs Keef..... Did that make any sense???? :-S I couldn't care less what her name is, she'll still be her. Kids will have to go double barrelled though I guess... Not ideal, but I'm not letting my name die with me... Call me old fashioned and all that....

Okay okay, if ED has to have a grant, surely it would be better spent on the library area of LL... That area was described as "the shabby end" of LL on here a couple of days ago, so maybe it would be more worth while sorting that out than the already very popular Goose Green end....

Mark, why should a grant pay for shops to improve their signage?!?!? They're a business, and if they want better signage, they should pay for it! If a certain shop doesn't want to change it's signage, that's also up to them, and if it offends the delicate eyes of any passer by, they should just avert them. Oh, and ednerd, what if someone likes their grubby net curtains, and really couldn't give a toss if THEIR front garden is in a state? I can't believe this forum sometimes!

Of all these ideas, Huguenot's is the best. However, I still stand by my earlier comment that ED is one of the last places that really needs a grant. There are plenty of things you could do to make the area nicer, but there are plenty of areas that don't even have half of what ED had 5 years ago, let alone now!

Pretty much agree with you Sean, which is why Liverpool fans love Gerrard so much, he stayed to try and rush them that extra step. As for the Weekend, I'm leaning towards Real just for Beckham. Say what you like about him, but I always respected him as England captain. It wasn't his fault he had a short sighted manager. It also speaks volumes that Real are now suddenly very gutted to be losing him!
