  1. Although I'd really rather not have to drink in the Pheonix!!!!! :-S
  2. I'd support it if I knew what the hell you were talking about.... I can't think where this memorial is :-S Outside the Harvester / Grove Tavern???
  3. Take away...... Healthy..... Huh????????
  4. Ahhh grades *shudders at the memories*
  5. Was wandering where you'd gotten to Mike.
  6. I know the one you're talking about, and after sticking up for him, he came back on and slagged every one off! There have been a couple of slightly unfriendly one though. I agree with what you're saying about keeping our own personalities!
  7. It's a peck shame if that shop isn't going to open, was looking forward to it :-(

I think a few EDFers are indeed on there... Personally I have given up enough of my life on here, I can't afford another addiction! :-S

    DVD Problem

That's pretty good actually. We pay about 15 for lovefilm. Advantage is you can have as many Dvds as you can get through, but in reality, its probably rare that it's over 6.
  10. I agree that it comes across as a bit cliquey. I may be one of the worst, I don't know, but just lately there have been things on here which haven't sat right with me. I also know a couple of old regulars that have said to me they can't be arsed with it anymore. We need to be friendly with people, and if they do repeat something, just give them a link to the previous thread, rather than talking like they're stupid for not knowing! Sorry if that sounds negative, but I felt I needed to say it.
  11. If you can be bothered going as far as Catford, there's a really good guitar shop called Eric Lyndsay. How about a nice new guitar strap and a set of spare strings... Ernie Ball regular slinky would be my choice ;-)
  12. We have a laminator if it's needed. I quite like the idea, but as top posters do myself, Piers and DM get gold cards? ;-)
  13. If I were staying in Britain, I'd like a summer house in St Ives Cornwall, lovely place. Same goes for Whitby! Further afield, I'd like a pad in Bordeaux... And the absolute dream would be a place in St Kilda in Melbourne! Oh to be a dreamer...
  14. Good work DM! As a loves of all things alcohol related (except the hangovers like the one I have today) I very much approve of what you're doing here ;-)

Or, if you really watch a lot of films, join something like Lovefilm.
  16. BA who was Mr T ;-) What about Face Man?
  17. Mogs Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Just curious to which part of Wales. Me or DM? I can't actually remember, as this was probably about 7 or 8 years back... It was North though....
  18. Bloody good point Asset! I'm a fan of M&S occasionally, but Mrs Keef has really opened my eyes to the bonus of fresh ingredients! For example, why use a jar of pasta sauce when you can make your own (even better with home made tomatoes!)??? That said, sometimes after work when you're knackered, it's just so much easier to chuck something in the oven from the fridge... :-S
  19. I remember going to some little village in Wales where my ex's granparents had moved to from Liverpool. I went to the pub on my own on the Sunday to watch the footy. I sat at the bar, and was quickly surrounded by a group of 4 or 5 blokes who started chatting and asking me questions... At first they seemed friendly, and interested. Then they started talking Welsh to each other and staring at me, whilst still stood around my barstool... I would have been quite scared had I not known in my heart that I was a superior being to the lot of them! Freaks ;-)

    Big Brother

I never watch it at the beginning, but in the past I've tended to get dragged in about half way through..... Mrs Keef and I are concerned, as all the stuff we watch on telly (which isn't a lot) has ended or is ending... Ideal, Life on Mars, The Apprentice (how did that happen?!?!?!?), Even the bloody football season!!!!! :(
  21. The fella I was thinking of was Don Beech in The Bill, who played Johnny Allen in EastEnders (bless google). Was he the one???
  22. Good work! >:D
  23. Surely no one could think a Waitrose would be bad?!?!?!?!? Even the Iceland massive would like Waitrose, you can't not like Waitrose, they do good red pepper humous! :-S
  24. I know it's a nice thing, but if anyone ever sees me in the morning, please don't bother saying hello, as I'm not a morning person, and I won't thank you for it! ;-)
  25. Bless you James, you are a snob sometimes! ;-) I'm not a big Castle fan, but it's not exactly on the main road, and it's not really hurting anyone..... Except the people in the fights there, but it serves them right! :)-D
