People with handsfree or bluetooth headsets are a bugger for that!!!
  2. Wasn't he the same one who went on to be a gangster in EastEnders?
  3. My mistake I read too quickly and thought we were talking about Bradford... Now that is a dump! Never been to Bedford, so no opinion. Sure you're right though Mockney, you have photos and everything ;-)

Heh heh heh heh "Superpuss"... heh heh heh heh.... Sorry :-$
  9. No no, I have a Sony Ericsson walkman phone, which I got for the music. However, it has full web access, and it's far too easy to look at the forum! :-S
  10. Are we still up for this open mic thing at the Gypst Hill Tavern next Sunday (10th)? We should start a seperate thread, and see if we can't get a bit of a gang there to either have a play, or just drink :)-D
  11. Yeah, but her daughter could turn out to be a total minger, several sizes larger... Now that would just be such a disappointment, it's best that it's out the way now ;-) *Legs it!!!!!!*

*Feels glad that fatigue meant leaving film night and going straight to bed last night!!!!!* *Slumps in to Lazyboy, fed up with meetings and IT sessions with fools!!!!!!* *Waves to DM* *Applies foundation to face before adding full Alice Cooper face paint* *Thinks "Mmmm black lace on sweat* *Swigs from lage bottle of JD*
  13. This reminds me of a "top 10 tunes to work out to" pole that I read a few years back... Can't remember them all, but Eye of the tiger, and Final Countdown were the top 2 >:D

I used to read on the journey too and from work, but now I find myself on the web&walk catching up with the forum! Bloody sad!!!! :-S
  15. Well spotted Bob! We watched an Inconvenient Truth last night.
  16. I quite liked Page 2 on the one occasion I went there.... Louisa and DM, there has been talk on the forum of an organic sex... sorry, I mean PET shop.... Good Idea??? ;-) I am indeed "old skool", and remember all the pubs as they used to be... However, as I lived in Liverpool between 1996 - 2001, I did notice a bit of a change when I got back... That said, I think most of the changes have actually happened in the last 3 or 4 years. Foresters, Magdalla, Inside72 (???)... The EDT had changed in 2001, but has changed several times since! One that is never mentioned, is The Uplands. Now that was a real back street boozer, and not a particularly nice one from what I remember / what my dad has said. However, in it's last couple of years as a pub, it had a really nice fella running it, and it was a nice place for a pint. Since the refurb, it has been sh!t!!!! Although the French lady (Mairead???) who was there for a while was lovely. In my opinion, that's the worst change of anywhere in ED.

TillieTrotter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm sure youre not being totally unkind here Keef. > But can you imagine taking your beautiful Gibson > Les Paul ?????? into a repair > shop.....................................! I'd kill the mother f****rs!!!!!!!! But at least I play my guitar (well remembered on the make!) quite often though... Sure the photographers use their lenses more than once too ;-)
  18. mockney piers Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I dunno, if vegetarians had their way we'd be up > to our necks in owls!! But owls have no necks! (quoting someone from last night I think)
  19. This was the thread about the guy being watched in his home... Very Odd!!!!
  20. I too have always found the CH to be a bit crap, but there you go, different folks and all that.
  21. Boom Boom!!! :)) Look, I think the cleaners were / are well out of order, and it's inexcusable whether it was a t-shirt from Primark, or a 2k dress.... I was just saying that in my opinion, it's a silly amount to spend. And it's not because I'm a bloke... I showed this thread to Mrs Keef, who's response was "who bloody cares?". That doesn't make my fair lady an uncaring, harsh bitch... Infact, she cares more about people / kids / the world than most people I know, but in the great scheme of things, who cares!?!?!?!? :-S However, I am sorry for you Susie, wherever you are, I imagine I'd be livid in your place!
  22. Bloody great isn't it! :)-D
  23. I don't think anyone's trying to justify what the cleaners did Bob, but after the first couple of posts I think all that needed to be said had been said about that. I just thought I'd bring the price of the dress in to it for a laugh really. That said, when I read the article, I found it hard to feel overly sorry, because the woman sounds rather materialistic. Still, if she has money to throw away, good for her. Bet she doesn't tip when she eats out though ;-)
  24. Sad thing is, there are still a lot of places open that match your description perfectly DM.
