I think the bollards and fences the council put blocking all the paths, especially at the edge of parks etc are really dangerous and make cycling that bit more difficult, especially if you pull a trailer. They seem to want to encourage cycling in one department and discourage it in others. I hope you weren't hurt badly. That sounds horrible.

TFL journey planner on the cycle only route is better because it shows all the quieter roads and now I know where the Greenwich foot tunnel is!

Looking at the map - if I can get thru the tunnel on the pavement I think that would be the easiest way - but I might invest in a new bike mask!

Does anyone know if you can cycle through the rotherhithe tunnel? I'm starting a job near East Ham station but want to see if I can cycle it cos it's only 10 and a half miles if I can go thru the tunnel.

I went in with a bolt that had the nut missing and they managed to find me one, for 7p. I think they are pretty good - they just get a bit busy some times.

They are trying to dismantle the BBC by scrapping the licence fee - now that is depressing!

I've seen a bus driver try to do that to a couple of young girls who didn't have the money to pay her fare. He relented under pressure from the passengers - but I think it's disgusting and if I were a bus driver I wouldn't be able to sleep after doing somthing like that - I'd be too worried about what had happened to them. What an ar$shole.
