  1. Great nite, lovely pub but something should be done with the carpet (a big skip).
  2. Mockney - wasn't I even a little bit scary?
  3. I think it's a terrible sign of the times - everyone knows breast are sexual objects and should not be allowed anywhere near a baby!!
  4. I just cycled home from the forum drink up, with a funny warm feeling inside me. Thought it was the drink or something I ate at first, but just realised it was that nice feeling u used to get as a kid when someone gave u a sweet or shared their crisps with you. Hehe, thanx guys had a lovely time. A few more months here and I'm gona turn all lovely and fluffy!!
  5. I think some of us might empty the pub if we sat in our undies
  6. Don't know what's worse, the fact that he lived up the road, or his age. Edited - please be careful what's said now, to quote a previous poster "now that someone has been charged - care should be taken to avoid contempt issues!" - The Administrator
  7. haha - but do they have heaters??
  8. Asset -Thanx. I'm not sure if all the Uni's publish on the same day. I'm with Westminster Uni. Check on your Uni website
  9. I just got my results today for my law degree, I got a 2:1, so I'm gona get a job (eventually), buy nothing I don't need so can save up enough money to buy a bit of land, then head for them thar hills, and leave the patio heating, 4 x 4 driving, high energy consuming peeps to the floods, famine (after peak oil raises prices of imported food thru the roof - we don't grow food here) and the ice-age.
  10. Vik - Was that in the baby class? Which mummy were you?
  11. BN - I'm not a fan of Darren Johnson,he's the least likeable Green I know, but the figures seem right. Heating the outside just seems an insane thing to do with the impending disaster of climate change about to f*** up the planet. Brendan - I'd go for the fire too, not sure on the carbon emissions for that, but all wood releases carbon when it rots anyway.
  12. I would have thought that the problems with outside heaters is that we are facing catastrophic climate change already, and should be reducing our energy consumption, so it seems a bit nihilistic to install outside heating in all the pubs across the country to stop smokers getting cold!
  13. Can we have the blokes in furry G-string pouches then too?
  14. My ecotricity (electricity) bill was ?130 for 3 months in a 3 bed hse, but was estimated, and is actually a lot higher than my usage, so it should be about ?100 for 3 months. I sent in my reading so my next bill should be a lot smaller.
  15. I'd love a Lidl's on LL so I wouldn't have to go all the way to Peckhell. Lidl is my favourite shop, its cheap and there is always a fight in the queue at rush hour!
  16. "Anyway, I think this could be a good pub IF they manage to get rid of the undesirables. I wish them luck!" - shit so that counts me out then!
  17. Phew - Admin, you can breath easy, it's in the public domain here, so you're off the hook!! http://icsouthlondon.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/0200southlondonheadlines/tm_headline=teen-is-arrested-in-child-snatch-fears%26method=full%26objectid=19397649%26siteid=50100-name_page.html
  18. Don't want to rain on the forum parade, but there are also issues for internet hosts re: lible law and since 2006, dissemination of material likely to encourage terrorism to think about. I'd personally argue that reports on the deaths in Iraq may possibly fall under any encouragement of terrorism, but news, opinion and political discussion are important for a democracy (Handyside v UK) and are supposed to be protected under the freedom of expression Art 10 ECHR. Anyway it would be very unusual for an internet host to be held liable if they remove the offending material after attention is drawn to it.
  19. LG - Thats ok, I'll take them out first and put them in the pint glass kindly supplied by TT
  20. TT - A packet of pork scratchings would be nice too
  21. I've never thought of anything Sky churned out as 'essential'!
  22. SeanMG - I'm actually a crap drinker, which is embarrassing being a northerner, I can't take more than a couple of pints before I get red and loud. I tend to take things slowly nowadays, cos I'm a bit too old to take the shame of not being able to handle my drink!
  23. I hope this is the guy, I've been too scared for my youngest daughter to go to the local shops, library or brownies by herself. I don't want to end up being an overprotective mum, but it's been hard not to with all these attempted abductions. Keef - I agree with you!
  24. My 15 year old daughter loves spending my money, it would be nice if she could earn a bit of her own! I get her to do jobs for cash and she is quite good if there is money involved! I'll PM my number and if you want her and her friend to do it, let me know.
