Despite the fact that I know you're in character most of the time, dm, I still can't help but respond in all seriousness. I blame the fatigue, it's playing havoc with my sense of irony. I might as well be American for all practical purposes. A sorry state of affairs.

Just back from Surma. I can confirm that taba is absolutely delicious. So much better than yer usual madras or whatever. It wasn't too smokey, although someone did light up nearby just as we were finishing. Was very loud, but that's down to one table of pissed people who looked like they were there on a work night out. So, hardly the restaurant's fault, and better too loud than too quiet.

Not compared to when she was in intensive care. (Sorry. Bit of a conversation-killer. True though. No matter how hard things get I just remind myself of that fact and it puts it all into perspective.)

We just don't watch much, and occasionally stay up if something good is on. Picture me sitting up, faced washed and in my jammies, watching Ugly Betty ready to go straight to bed the moment the credits roll. It's tragic but true.

I'd definitely be pleased if an Italian restaurant opened on LL. And while I'd prefer an independent, family-run place I wouldn't be too upset if it were a Strada instead.

Heh - it's not so bad really. But why let that get in the way of a good moan? She's pretty good compared to some I've heard about. And it's just nice to have her home.

It's hard to miss given the number of times each episode is aired. My oldest is still too young to notice that having your local park on the telly is not normal. In her eyes, why wouldn't it be? It is THE park, after all. Can you do, the kangaroo? Do do do, the kan-ga-roo...

Not quite on the same lines, but there's an episode of Boogie Beebies that was filmed in Dulwich Park. If you don't know what I'm on about, count yourself lucky.

I think lots of them may well have waiting lists. ED isn't exactly short on kids. The Cherry Tree nursery is supposed to be good - it's a Montessori one. Fraid my memory's failing me a bit, but I think it might be on Nutfield Rd.

Last time I ate at the Crown and Greyhound the food was terrible - worst I've eaten in a very long time. That was a while ago now, so it may well have improved. I'll wait to hear from someone else before risking it myself though. -
I reckon I'll miss this one too. Same reason as last time. I will revive my social life again one day. I expect. Ahem.

Just turn your sound down before you visit the site. But yes - their food is fantastic. Also, they're always a bit quicker to deliver than they say they'll be. Don't know whether you can eat in there or whether it's takeaway only.
