  1. You had me on 'before all the cry babies start'. Priceless.
  2. That was my first instinct but now thinking bog standard troll.
  3. Head to the EDT, good neutral ground, airy and unclaustrophobic if things aint going well. If it's a nice day several exit points which could prove useful.
  4. I am loving the concern for our well-being, especially that we should leave our screens (they turns your eyes square you know) and abodes, I must say. Very unpatrick like though, it almost shows a regard beyond one's own sociopathic ego. 1/10 for staying in character.
  5. Though Patrick Bateman's sense of humour was questionable to say the least (though I find it hard to criticise anyone with a penchant for Genesis), Brett Easton Ellis' is superlative, I trust our new friend leans toward the latter rather than the former.
  6. Noo, not wolfie's style, this is more like someone who considers everyone else as failed people who own bugaboos smugly.
  7. the most i can say for sure is that she's consistent.
  8. Have you sold the rights to T-mobile? You'll make a fortune.
  9. You do know it's us thirty somethings that have been gaming all our lives and have money to burn tha you want to talk/sell to. Plus all the young'uns on xbox live are a PITA and keep calling everything 'gay'. You want soem wisdom and experience you do, I'll do it for free if you bung me loads of games :)
  10. I used to notice that Ireland was split about 50/50 over wheter Keane was ahero or a traitor regards his walking out in the world cup (cork lad in the office is very much in the latter camp). I've a feeling after this that it'll be about 40/60 now. You can't deny his point though, win the damn game and it's not an issue. Though for the record I though they played rather well and were unlucky to lose, but then I support west ham, that's just par for the course with us.
  11. Denamrk didn't even qualify and won the Euros. Greece were a very humdrum team and also won Euros. Actually that (Portugal 2004) was a poor quality tournament full stop. I have high hopes for this one, the last couple of world cups have been a bit dissappointig quality wise, but I just have a feelin thisll be a cracker.
  12. My French boss has been mercilessly ribbing my Irish colleagues. He would never in a million years be offended by the use of frog, any more than I would by (as mm points out) rosbif. Although strictly speaking I am a spic. In all fairness to Guillaume he is pretty appalled by the goal, but he's a piss taking type. There are genuine battles to be fought regards racism, this isn't one of them.
  13. Aaaaah, ok that makes more sense. I was vaguely amazed you'd heard of them to be honest. Gig garnered good reviews, one chap saying it was friendliest audience he'd ever seen and even the security guys were in a good mood saying how much they enjoyed it, rare praise indeed.
  14. Bloody sun. I invented that one (along with about a million others). Racist my big fat arse. It's the French for blimmin eck's sake, it's a weird form of affection.
  15. Scientists are handing climate change deniers an absolute gift if they keep hanging atound together saying the world is threatened by killer robots. I understand they are by definition geeky, but seriously... Perhaps they should read more culture novels where AI 'minds' are the key to a truly benevolent society where wealth, crime and even death arethings of the past.
  16. The whale song (with inflatable whales and everyfink) 15 minute second encore
  17. Best concert I've seen in an age ... And some. Brilliant.
  18. . See forum breathlyser
  19. ... and the wanting comes in waaaaaves ....
  20. Noone takes Di Canio's name in vain. A true gentleman. Except maybe Paul Alcock.
  21. It will. Hand of Frog?
  22. Well, that's a start!
  23. It's all in the multiplayer (lvl 16 now). Let me know when you fancy spec ops. I want fun with helicopters.
  24. Not yet. I saw the lad behind the bar was the same chap as before, it's had a bit of a spruce and is packed with littl gastro style tables, and a couple of the locs had drifted back from their involuntary exile in the Phoenix, but not been in yet.
  25. I genuinely can't follow your logic at all, leaving aside what on earth a watered down capital punishment involves, or the conflatory and implicitly derogatroy use of the terms apologist and left, you seem to think a country that has the legal killing of women who commit adultey as getting it right. Once more here, society is imperfect because people are imperfect, you acknowledge that watering down capital punishment is a sign of maturity because it acknowledges that, then say that however that is being apologist for criminals and will bring about barbarity (though no evidence of us heading that way that that I can see). Remeber just because the daily mail screams about our society falling apart doesn't mean it is.
