  1. Is anyone partial to Little Howards Big Question btw? Caught it for the first time the other morning and was a bit shocked as Howard's a mate of mine but I had no idea he'd branched out to kids tv. I thougth it was very funny as it goes and the mocklet loved all the songs.
  2. We've our old baby bath that we used in the bath up in the loft, kore than welcome to it.
  3. Whitstable or Hastings.
  4. I can't believe Stevenage are one division below west ham. It'll be very weird for me if they end up playing each other in the years to come. Regardless huuuuge congrats to the boys from the borough (even if it ain't called that any more).
  5. It has been done before when a certain banned poster enlisted some help to cause trouble and they did denial of service attacks on the forum. It was a temporary measure then until they lost interest. Problem here is that many banned posters just don't lose interest and have been returning over a long period of time. I'm not sure sadly there is a solution other than vigilance and the tedious tasking of uncovering them and banning them over and over again :(
  6. From vista onwards the OS defrags in the background all the time so you shouldn't need to run a defrag. If it's XP it might help. Death of PC usually means hardware death of the hard drive, indeed slowing down is usually the same problem. Buy a new hard drive and use Maxtor to make an identical image of your current one, then simply swap the, out. Your laptops may well run like new. It's all those knocks and bumps that a laptop suffers thatbdoes the damage. We're not far off solid state hard drives form the likes of you and me, and they are a lot faster in terms of io, but right now they're still a tad pricey.
  7. Out Of focus. Love it!!!
  8. I remember years ago someone I knew, a right clever clogs saying there's no such thing as centrifugal force just a lack of centripetal. Was he just trying to look clever or is there any truth in this. Pst I've no idea why that phrase lodged in my head but it did.
  9. A flash drive isn't magnetic and has no moving parts and only degrades through r/w activity so is pretty safe for long term storage too. That said I do keep meaning to back up my photos to disc but I never seem to get around to it as it's comparatively a right palaver.
  10. ?Anem Barca?
  11. In fact doesn't that just make them fools if they knew they were playing a rigged game. Becks and a prince vs corrupt Russian oligarchic oil roubles. OK, naive or stupid, you choose.
  12. Agreed. But think of the money.....oh, that's pretty much what everyone was doing.
  13. Have your cake or eat it?
  14. a binary hexadecimal debate, that's just having your cake and eating it surely.
  15. I'm quite prone to elf interest too mind. I had a real thing for Bjork back in the sugarcubes days.
  16. Fair enough, I was thinking 0 based array, forgive me, have my head in a piece of code right now....
  17. If FIFA stinks then the FA has a whiff about it, at least in terms of the old boy elf interest conservative thinking. I guess the reason it has been more adaptable here is that it's had to respond to the power of the Premiership. Not that I think that the Premier League is all good by any stretch, but that's another story. I can't see a rerun happening however.
  18. 0-9 A-F, so close. But only for geeks!
  19. In short yes. Blatter must must must go, and a hefty broom needs to be swept through the inner, oh sod it, outer sanctums too. The IOC had a bit of a dodgy reputation in the past and is now much more transparent in it's workings and relatively free of corruption. Football absolutely must follow suit. Technology in football might be on the cards then too :D
  20. Don't forget Hoopers. Three screens so you can probably catch some of the cricket before hand.
  21. Pope Benedict I? Pope Benedict II? Pope Benedict III? Pope Benedict IV? Pope Benedict V? Pope Benedict VI? Pope Benedict VII? Pope Benedict VIII? Pope Benedict IX? Pope Benedict X? Pope Benedict XI? Pope Benedict XII? Pope Benedict XIII? Pope Benedict XIV? Pope Benedict XV? Pope Benedict XVI? Damned if I know.
  22. Binary debates or hexadecimal debates? The clue is in the question.
  23. If you click the link through you'll see the photo is indeed entitled corona, but it is in effect a circular rainbow. Same thing really, as the light is diffracted through the moisture laden air in the same way as through rain. It was in the tropics (Guatemala) on a hot humid day with added thin low cloud.
  24. I took this one a couple of years ago
