Elbow will be on tour in October and playing The Roundhouse on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October. On sale Friday 27th June. Just a reminder to everyone to buy tickets directly from www.roundhouse.org.uk and avoid the excessive booking fees. Also for the Autumn - long awaited new vinyl and two Barbican gigs for Antony and the Johnsons. Public on-sale at the Barbican on 1st July.

What a brilliant thread - I'm loving people's lists. For me - this is a job for the weekend. Gonna need some help with that whole uploading thing (I'm a true Luddite at heart).

OMG IF I DIE IN MY SLEEP TONIGHT I WILL HAVE DIED A VERY HAPPY WOMAN. I have just seen Led Zeppelin with the Foos and they totally rocked. I spent 3 hours in the mosh pit about 15 ft from the stage (I'm getting way too old for mosh pits but sometimes you just have to). My feet were trodden on, I'm covered in beer and I have no voice left but WOAH! So perfect. Towards the end of the gig it started to rain fairly heavily and I'm so grateful for that because it was getting very hot down the front. After Jimmy Page left the stage the Foos did one more song and Dave Grohl stopped singing somewhere in the middle of the song and covered his face with his hands - I really think he was crying. I know how you felt Dave! I would really love to post a photo but I don't know how to do it.

I'm so pleased I made the effort to show up last night. I was a little fuzzy this morning - I'm a real lightweight and don't take my drink well! I'm on my way back to Wembley for tonight gig - there's a little rumour that there just might be a Zeppeliny type guest at the Foos tonight. How can I possibly not go? If the rumour's wrong (and I do hope not) then at least I'll be able to catch up with a lot of friends I know will be there. Hope the rumour's right though!

Anna - I feel bad for you that you didn't have better seats though! Last Friday I was at the Springsteen gig at the Emirates Stadium. I had seats in a directors' box. I was a bit anxious about the whole thing because it was the first ever gig at the Emirates and I didn't know where the box was going to be and I didn't want to be stuck with no view (I would have preferred to be on the pitch). I'm a massive fan and I really wanted to enjoy this gig. Anyway, our seats were the best and it was a fantastic gig. As for Emirates Stadium - top venue with top staff. I've never been so well treated by venue staff; everyone we dealt with treated us like we were guests at a 5 star hotel. Very civilized place.

Anna - I also had seats in the Kop on Sunday night (although I didn't actually use them). These seats were sold months and months ago for ?75 each and they were sold as premium seats but were unallocated at the time of the sale. When the tickets were actually distributed and buyers saw that the so called "premium" seats could not have been any further from the stage, my guess many complaints were received. I had an email from the organisers offering me a refund (did you get that email?). It's pretty rare to be offered a refund for a gig so I smelled a rat straight away and took the refund. By that stage pitch tickets were back on sale anyway (like you said, the capacity had increased). I'm always extremely wary about buying unallocated seats because once they have your cash they can stick you anywyere. Bad news huh!

Thank you. Some things must remain sacred.

OMG now we're talking about "parts" on the gig forum as well.

No no no - you're so wrong. This is a shop for hookers. Soon you won't be able to move in Lordship Lane for hookers on their days off, stocking up on footwear. You'll see I'm right.

Well I shall be at Wembley with the Foos this Friday - I never get to come to drinks!

Sorry but the Tom Waits London gigs are still unconfirmed. Edinburgh and Dublin gigs are confirmed and sold out but he's just so cranky he may decide not to come to London at all. On another note - SIGUR ROS - playing a very interesting gig next month at Central Halls in Westminster (not a usual venue for gigs - Arcade Fire played there a few years back). Anyway, there was a pre-sale but I was in meetings and didn't post it - now it's sold out. Tickets go on sale on Friday morning from the usual places. I predict it will go quite quickly though. I'm just editing my post to say that the SIGUR ROS pre-sale is back on - they have more tickets on sale here: http://tickets.klink.is/Store/DisplayItems.html

Booking fees are a total rip-off but, in this case, there was no need at all for you to pay the amount you paid. You could have purchased these tickets directly from the venue - www.roundhouse.org.uk - and your total would have been ?43 - almost a ?9 saving on what you actually spent.

It's a shop for hookers, surely?

Years ago I was driving through Ireland (Cork I think) minding my own business and listening to the local radio station. The male radio presenter was doing a piece on the local beauty salon; he?d grown tired of his wife complaining about everything women needed to do to be properly groomed so had decided to get himself waxed live on air. It was so obvious what was going to happen (guys having a low pain threshold and all); seconds after the strip came off a chain of expletives roared out of my radio, then silence and then a commercial break. I laughed so hard I nearly crashed the car. I had to pull over until I could get myself under control. The car behind me also pulled over and I thought he was going to have a go at me for not indicating or something; but he was laughing too.

Oh please please can we stop airing our bits in public. It's not big and it's not clever.

Alarms are temperamental and I know mine has been off a few times. My first reaction is never ?OMG there?s an undesirable in my house? but always ?OMG what about next door?. But my next door neighbour is a honey and never complains! Alarms just deter a burglar into going to a house without an alarm because, let?s face it, we all want an easy life.

NOT my cup of tea (big time), but I just wanted to flag-up to people that COLDPLAY are playing at O2 in December and that tickets are on sale from the usual outlets this Friday from 9.30am. I don't think there will be a presale but if I hear of one I will post it here. It's beyone me why they are so popular but there you go.

"I've had enough of you lot, you're all...."

I could flounce for Britain. Really, I could. I'm so good at it. I can flounce from a room leaving a sting behind me and the echo of a high heel high tailing-it. Haven't quite worked out how to do it in print though. So I don't expect I'll be creating any drama on the Forum any time soon. -
I vote we pull together a posse and take ourselves off to the IWM with our i-Pods? They'll never take us alive.
