The Donmar has a production of Lear with Derek Jacobi opening in December. It's been sold out for months and months at the Donmar but they have introduced a handful of performances at the Richmond Theatre for next year. If you want to see it then go to Richmond and have a nice day out (better than queueing at 6am for day seats at the Donmar IMO).

Sympathies. Bad sound-proofing can make life hell. If you can hear them then they can doubtless hear you too - that's the way it goes. You were foolish to let the relationship with your neighbours break down so easily as in situations like this you need good will on both sides. I would urge you to try and open a dialogue again. The baby is only doing what babies do so that noise isn't going to stop. Maybe highlight times/areas in the flat where it really bothers you and see if the parents are willing to try and curb the jumping at those times/places. Or, as someone has already suggested, put carpet down in those places. It is easy in these situations to begin to think that people are doing it on purpose to annoy you. I'm not saying that's what you think - just saying that it's easy to start to think like that. It's not that your neighbours are being overly-noisy - just that sound leaks between the flats. Try and get your relationship back on friendly terms and knock out a solution that way.

Elbow long long awaited tour next March on sale this Friday. Probably pre-sales tomorrow/Thursday. Also, Rumer (local, Herne Hill) could be the next big thing and doing a date at Shepherds Bush Empire. Would post a Rumer You Tube link but can't access YT at work. Give her a go. There's likely to be another Kings of Leon date at O2. I think they're holding back on the second date as they did a deal with the devil over ticket sales (sad but true).

There are some nice frocks there DM but some of them look like they didn't make it past the calico stage but were sent down the catwalk regardless. Most woman have curves so put some curves in the clothes! Mad Men has struck a chord because, aside from the fact that it's quality drama, the women have real bodies with curves and wear clothes that enhance those curves. Joan is indeed fabulous. The series certainly struck a chord with Micaela Prada and LV who've nicked the theme wholesale for AW.
