  1. So that wasn't you sobbing and inconsolable in the public gallery then Cate?
  2. I pressed my nose up against the window at it looks kinda nice. I want to go to this. Thank you for organising, Georgia (with your big Disney Princess eyes). Px
  3. Tarot, please post a picture of yourself in your regular garb, or paint us a picture.
  4. No need for a stewards' enquiry; I'll relinquish any claim on 23 (and never say I'm not gracious). I suppose 7 is out of the question? Or even 1? Px
  5. George is going down (no pun intended) - very sad but he's had it coming for a long time. http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/sep/14/george-michael-jailed-eight-weeks He should be grateful that there was nobody standing outside of Snappy Snaps at the time. FFS, all that money and he can't afford a driver. Get yourself a driver George and then you can get as stoned as you like. Still, very sad.
  6. Woof, I haven't won anything in your lottery and to be honest, I'm beginning to think it's all a scam. Oh wait, I might not have entered. Can I have 23 please. Px

Brendan, sweet - it came up because you brought it up. Did you forget your meds today?

This thread is turning into a massive group hug. I feel like telling someone to fekk off. Hoochie - you could be right with the whole Brendan/Kull of Atlantis thing. It seems the best way to get round Brendan though is to set up a micro-micro-brewery in your front parlour. Px

And Hoochie B goes without saying.

My mum let us stay up and watch. Now there's progressive parenting for you.
  15. I suppose we can look forward to lots of pope souvenir tat. Just found this link. Loving the pope on a rope. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-world/2008/04/18/pictures-the-wacky-pope-souvenirs-on-sale-in-the-us-to-mark-his-visit-115875-20387269/
  16. Would this thread kindly get back on topic please. There are other threads where you can discuss half nelsons and Tory governments and you would probably be welcomed with open arms.
  17. Tracksuits and trainers are for wearing on your way to the gym, at the gym and home again from the gym. That's it.

GEORGE CLOONEY IS NOT GAY Back on topic. I like kind people who make me laugh and are truthful and generous. Preferably male and really hot (and tall).
  19. Quids you're like the man counting the stars from the Little Prince and I loved reading the Little Prince so now I'm feeling some joy.
  20. Robbie is an excellent performer. I wouldn't go out of my way to see him (not even if he was playing at the EDT) - but he's got all the right moves. I saw him at the Roundhouse last year*, which is a very small space for him. He was nervous as hell but he did a good job. He doesn't press any buttons for me but I can totally see what the appeal is. I've got a soft spot for Take That though and could definitely snog Jason Orange. Or Howard. They're hot. * I so didn't want to go see Robbie but my bitches did and I had to go to sign them in on the night. Spent most of the evening at the bar with all the blokes who'd gone with their WAGs and were miserable.
  21. Well there's certainly some tumbleweed blowing 'round the Hoochie thread. Where is he?
  22. I think you'll find that the Philistines worshiped Baal*. Or somebody. In the words of Bob D, "You?re gonna have to serve somebody". Back on topic - pope's a wanker. * I'm available for pub quizzes
  23. I don't eat bread on a day-to-day basis but toast is one of my "treat" foods. Perversely, my favourite toast is made from ordinary, cheap white bread - with a smear of melting butter. Gorgeous. Hotel breakfasts tend to be nothing special. They cater for large numbers and it shows.
  24. Ticket sales were very poor for this. They were offering 20% discount on the gold circle tickets at the end of last week - says it all really. I haven't got a telly so haven't watched. Shame though - and it's not all Z listers - there are some decent acts - nothing that appeals to me per se but decent if you like that sort of thing.
  25. Well this is a depressing thread MickM. What's got into you. Basically, running is wrong, wears out your knees and (as someone has already pointed out) joggers always look miserable. A gentle stroll down Bond Street is much more becoming. The cardiovascular element kicks in when you tally up how much you've spent.
