  1. So pleased it wasn't just me being dim! Anyone have any idea if the footpath route to Greendale will be compromised? As said, the drawings aren't very clear. Maybe Ladygooner, or some sort of flyover!
  2. Forgive me if I'm reading this wrong, but if they extend the park, how do people who live in Abbotswood and the surrounding roads drive to their homes?
  3. It was also on BBC news last week. Shocking that they seemingly tried to keep it quiet. Just out of interest, I noticed on the leaflet that came through our door that the planned new school is being referred to as 'Hatcham East Dulwich', no sign of 'Haberdashers' or 'Askes'. Is there a reason for this?
  4. Albrighton Centre have lots going on http://www.dkh.org.uk/dkh_website/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Summer-holiday-2014.pdf As do Bessemer Childrens Centre: http://bessemergrangeprimary.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Summer-timetable.pdf

  7. Yep, passed it on the way to school just before 9. It is the sports field.
  8. What Ruffers said. Do we really need a new thread started every time someone sees them?

From what I understand it is the new owner of DHFC who has closed off the land and the astroturf to the public. It's still used for training.
  10. Always found Frontline effective, Medicanimal prices are much more reasonable than shop prices.
  11. Made you look, made you stare, made you lose your underwear.

They won't look in there but remember to move it the night before collection. I have no problem whatsoever with people going through my bins, one mans trash is another mans treasure and all that. As for inviting them in for a rummage around my house - that's where I tend to store items that I want to keep hold of so I'd rather they stuck to the bins.
  14. Still the same for Camberwell, so I can only presume ED's in line, happy to be proven wrong though!

My girls like to play people skittles on their scooters. They ride as fast as they can and see how many pedestrians they can take out in one go.

    travellers

These 'travellers' have actually been there for years. They were in the Dulwich Hamlet car park, then when it was cleared have moved off the main bit of land. We and many, many other families and school children walk past them everyday. I never hear or see them. aside from the campervan and occasional van, you wouldn't know they were there. They have been responsible for planting flowers around the site and keeping it clear and tidy. To say they are intimidating is up there with the stupidest comments I have seen on here.
