  1. I assume so, since that is where mine diappeared from and there seems to be a bit of a disjoint in there.

    "You're Dumped"

Did you get a farewell shag, Bren? Or even a hello/goodbye shag in that particular case?
  3. Oh, dear. My post, which probably not so much stepped over the line as passed it in a steamroller, seems to have vanished. Did it cause a rumpus? Apologies, Admin!
  4. All a bit Osbourne-Stewart if you ask me...
  5. I think I've seen that movie.
  6. Dan, Just had a look at your site - very nice and very professional... and, most importantly, very welcoming! Just the thing. You just need to sort out some links. Lots of things (like Google maps) point to your old site (stmcc.play-cricket.com). But, really good site. In fact, as I am currently redesigning our club site I might have a good rummage around in it tonight to see if there are any good ideas I can 'borrow'...!
  7. Hollandaise Sauce. You have to make yourself to really appreciate how bad for you this liquid heart-attack is.
  8. Maybe they should spend a day at a city bank, just for balance? See which way the little buggers sway.
  9. The framing shop was called Darragh Art and it was there when I moved to ED in 1999. Very good they were too. (No, my memory isn't that good - I just had a look on the back of one of the things they framed for me!)
  10. Why buy an underpowered and underfeatured netbook when for usually about another ?100 you can have a decent laptop?
  11. Yes and no, James. I see giving stuff to charity shops as being useful in two ways: one, the charity gets some dosh. But, two, someone on lower income levels gets some useful stuff at a bargain price. Some of the Mind Shop prices were really rather high which means that the buyers are arguably getting a bit fleeced.
  12. Ebico seem upfront about their Southern relationship here. Pretty much the same as three years ago when I joined them.
  13. I'm with Ebico and I have yet to have my door kicked in. I was fully informed of the fact that Ebico farm out the actual supply when I signed up - it's made pretty clear on the website and all the bills come on Southern letterhead. I believe they aren't a sister company as such, just a reseller of Southern supplies. Actually, every time I check the comparison sites, I'm in or thereabouts at the best deal so I've not needed to change for a few years. Personally I recommend them. But I say that as someone with a fully intact front door.
  14. Yep, expat, two words: John Lewis. Excellent service and they often price match.

    Busted....

So are you telling us you are not actually Katie, 13 from East Dulwich in real life? Who'dathunkit?
  16. Loads of my friends are going Android - HTC Desire in particular. They love them. All the bells and whistles of an iPhone, but without the lockdown and the ponce effect.
  17. I would, Ratty, but I've already got one...
  18. Moos Wrote: > Pickle, I thought you Australasians were all > immune to arachnophobia! ;-) This one is not. Eeeeew.
  19. Agree with Jeremy. Email is brilliant on the Blackberry, but the web browser sucks. The upcoming version of the OS is supposed to be better, but I'm not holding my breath.

  21. Jaysus - that picture on Wikipedia is a bit scary - green fangs??? I normally remove spiders out to the garden when they get in, but if I see one of those it's going to be an instant size 9.
  22. > I am still none the wiser as to whether or not you can opt out of the online check in. I believe the answer is yes, but you have to pay ?40 (each person, each flight) for the privilege.
  23. If you see any sloes let me know where!
  24. You think that's bad Narnia? I missed a really important meeting the other day that I wasn't invited to. Oh, the shame. Fortunately, I don't think anyone noticed.
  25. I can't remember the comedian, but the quip was, "It'll be a great day when hospitals have all the equipment they need supplied by the government and the air force has to hold a cake sale to raise money for a new plane".
