I don't think it was a closed shop. Anyone in ED could vote, if I recall. I voted.

From the angle the photo is taken, the top storey windows don't seem to line up with the ones below.
  3. There is apparently something very wrong with the management at Peckham sorting office, and it's about time something was done about it. It seems no time at all since the shambles when the Dulwich deliveries moved there from Sylvester Road. If it was me, my next step would be a complaint to the CEO of Royal Mail, copied in to Helen Hayes.

  7. Thank you IlonaM for posting that, but how depressing that all this is needed 😢

Because if something is amiss at Peckham, it will keep on being amiss unless people report problems .....

Using a washing machine after 6pm is classed as antisocial behaviour? Or, say, a hoover. Really? 6pm?? And "daylight hours" vary during the year, surely? I believe Southwark Noise Control specifically excludes domestic appliances as a reason to call them out, unless I have misremembered. I would have thought before 10pm was reasonable unless the noise was really loud? Good luck with sorting it out though, HelenAnne, I agree a friendly note would be the best first approach.
  13. As mentioned in another thread on here (which I can't now find): MEATliquor @MEATLiquor ? Apr 24 With regards to the picture of the front of @MEATliquorED The Police arrived in a van all together and ordered. When the food was ready we delivered to their van. 3 uber drivers waiting for collection and some more passers by and someone waiting for a bus at the bus stop

Can you tell me exactly where on that page it says that if you catch a grey squirrel on your land you should destroy it? It says "insects or animals causing harm or nuisance" on your property. I have at least one grey squirrel eating the bird food in my garden. I find him quite amusing to watch. Are you suggesting I should kill him??? Because I am certainly not going to! :(
  15. Oh no! My sister has a lovely African Grey, she would be devastated to lose him. I do hope that Jack comes back. ETA: I have peanuts at the ready in case he comes into my garden!
  16. I wasn't able to use this app due to glitches, and when I contacted them to say so I just got a standard email response. I still keep getting notifications to fill it in "today" though ..... Hopefully other people will have better luck!

How would "dangerous driving" be defined?

  19. Great!
  20. Are they on Facebook or Twitter? I've had problems resolved in the past by posting them on the relevant company's page on Facebook.

You need to double check the description before you buy it. That's easier if you are buying it online I guess.
