  1. Sorry to ask a stupid question, but how do you know it was lost?
  2. Can anybody recommend cheap but reliable breakdown cover, including HomeStart? MoneySavingExpert always recommends AutoAid, but they have terrible reviews elsewhere by people who have used them, and when I phoned them recently with a query I was less than impressed with the person on the other end of the phone. I have been with them in the past, but then I hadn't actually needed to call them out ..... I'd rather pay a bit more and get an efficient service if I need it (which I hope I won't).
  3. I go to both. No probs at either.
  4. I use all the bags left by charities, as bin liners or for collecting stuff to compost. Why would you not?
  5. If you are driving probably better to find another way, avoiding the area!! I think it has broken down, but I'm on another bus so can't be sure.
  6. Thanks RichH. Presumably if I do that I can link it again in the future should I want to?
  7. I think it's highly unlikely Carbonite will go down at the same time as all my stuff suddenly disappears :) OneDrive doesn't have anything like enough storage for me .....
  8. Crying emoji :(
  9. Since that last update, every time I turn on my laptop I get this sign-in thing to OneDrive, which is a bit annoying. I can get rid of it each time, but I'd rather it didn't come up at all. Where in Settings (I assume) can I stop it appearing? I don't want to use OneDrive, I have everything saved in Carbonite.

We go to the museum (and other museums) both with and without the grandchildren in tow. I've never found other people's kids interfered with my enjoyment of the Horniman. Quite the opposite usually, I like watching children's reactions to things. I must admit however that I had no wish whatsoever to go to the Lego thing, and only went under sufferance, having no interest at all in giant Lego models, or indeed any Lego models (though the video of how they were built was quite interesting :)) ) The grandkids, however, were riveted. But I digress, which is not allowed. Sorry :))

  13. Thanks, MrsR!
  14. Does anybody know if this shop is accepting cookery books (all in good condition)? I can't find a phone number online (probably because they don't want to spend their time answering queries from people like me :)) ) and I don't want to lug a load of books down there and then find they don't want them!

The P13 goes directly from outside The Great Exhibition to Streatham Hill Station.
  17. I've read the proposals now. They all make complete sense to me. I can't see how they will turn the site into a "theme park" ?
  18. Thanks Maria. I found fresh turmeric in Organic Village.
  19. I am also a member and this is the first I've heard of it :( Maybe I didn't properly read the newsletter :(

  24. Crikey, how has someone found this thread from two years ago? To be quite clear, my car was never uninsured!
  25. Thanks Carrie!
