Not a restaurant, but lest we forget .... Rim World in the Walworth Road ....

I've seen one in Venice (sorry to place drop). It was feeding from flowers in a window box over a canal.
-
It will shortly be closed for renovation for a couple of weeks.

KK, that's what the OP is referring to, isn't it?

Was that the one I think it was?!

I feel I have gone through a portal to a parallel dimension. Or something.

Just leave it outside your house. Someone will take it. Or at least years ago that was what I did with an old PC (having trashed the hard drive first). Or advertise it free on here, some people like taking them apart :)

Sorry btw, I was previously looking at another Netquest website which had nothing to do with the ED one, duh.

The Netquest in Pellatt Road, they mean. I don't think it has a website. It's opposite The Lordship. Christian is very helpful.

Oh FFS. I wish I'd never started this thread I should have known what would happen. Why can't people just be pleased for a local business and congratulate them on their well deserved award? Yes they have three other shops. They are a family owned business which is doing well. Good for them.

DonCiccio Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Postmark isn't even the best card shop in East > Dulwich! Well, we all have different tastes, so it depends how you personally define "best", doesn't it? Clearly the award was not just given at random. I'm not sure quite why you would want to post on here to diss a great local shop which has just won an award, particularly since it's only your third post since you joined the forum.

Was that the one slagging off his next door neighbour and giving the address?! His other posts seemed quite normal. He must have been very very very drunk :)) Or it could have been a her I guess. Certainly his neighbour was (keep your snotty legs together was part of it, if memory serves :)) And "posh t*at" )
-
It's not a question of one or the other, surely? We are very lucky to have two card shops locally, plus other shops selling cards. Whatever your taste you are likely to find what you are looking for in one of the shops, and it's great to have a choice. I started the thread to share the fact that Postmark has won a well deserved award!

In today's > world we're meant to think EQUAL. No, we are not "meant to think EQUAL", whatever that is supposed to mean. We are supposed to think FAIRLY. ETA: It is unfair - and also illegal - to discriminate against people applying for jobs based on characteristics unrelated to their ability to do the job, such as their ethnic origin. And why encouraging people from groups who may be unwilling to apply for a job because they expect to be unfairly discriminated against should cause you irrational rage, I really don't understand. I'm assuming that you don't fall into any of those groups and have no empathy with jobseekers who do. It's about finding the best person for the job. Full stop.

I spilled a glass of wine over my partner's laptop once. Cue flash, bang etc.. Was told by someone I took it to (not a shop) that it was not repairable so I bought partner a new laptop. Gave old one away to someone else to fiddle about with, dismantle for spares etc. Found out much later that it had made a miraculous recovery. Don't give up! ETA: My cynical mind says if you take it to Apple they will tell you you need a new one ....

Hugs, but just wondering whether you have actually followed up any of these suggestions? I know it's hard, but organisations like Cruse who offer bereavement counselling can only help if you contact them. Apologies if you have, but it isn't clear from your posts on here that you have. I hope things get a little easier for you.
