I've never seen any. I've just seen a few mothers feeding their babies in relative privacy. They're hardly going out to "prominent (sic)" places specially to get their tits out to make a point. As it were.

But was it actually to catch a burglar? Do we know? And if it was, and if they caught him, why was that overkill? We have no idea if it was overkill unless we know the exact situation. The police are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Usually threads on here are complaining that burglars aren't being caught!

If you ignore it and don't renew you get fined, just as you did before. It's much much easier to renew online. It takes about five minutes, as opposed to going to a Post Office with all the car documentation, queueing for ages and then having to wait while the paperwork was all done manually.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been out. Thanks everybody for your help. I attach a screenshot of the situation previously which gives an error code and says that the file cannot be saved. However the trojan is now showing up in my MSE history in "all detected items" and saying that the action taken is "quarantined". It seems to have quarantined it four times!!! On 21 March (twice) then 22 and 23 March. I really don't understand what is going on. If I go to "quarantined items", there is nothing there. And if it has actually been quarantined, why was I being told yesterday that I had it and it needed to be quarantined? Does it keep coming back? Sorry to be dim. I've attached another screenshot of what is now showing in "all detected items."

After running a full scan overnight I have a notification that I have TrojanDropper Win32/Dunik!rts on my laptop. It won't quarantine because it says "the file exceeds the limit allowed and cannot be saved." I am using Microsoft Security Essentials (on advice last time I had major laptop problems several years ago, partly caused by the virus checker I was using) but in any case having googled, apparently it isn't picked up by other virus software anyway. I am quite concerned as it looks serious. I have googled and found advice on how to remove it, but to do it properly appears to involve going into the registry, and no way am I going to start messing with that, AAAARRRGH :( Also, I don't know whether all the sites I have consulted are themselves OK, and I am concerned I could make matters a lot worse. Microsoft itself isn't a lot of help - it just says "no further information is currently available on this threat" and "alert notifications from installed antivirus software may be the only symptom(s)". My ancient laptop had been running very slow, but I moved a load of music files to an external hard drive yesterday and that speeded it up considerably, so I am quite p-ed off that now I've got this :( I went into task manager to stop it running in the background at least, but it's not showing up there, so now I'm totally confused. If anybody can help I'd be very grateful. ETA: Bizarrely, my status is now showing as "protected", and the history is showing no detected items at all. Is this some kind of total false alarm? I have a screenshot showing the trojan was detected, advising quarantine and saying it's dangerous and installs other programs, and also that it cannot be saved into quarantine.

To reiterate: It was a cold baguette. There was no smell. There were no crumbs. There was no litter left. We were on our way to a walk by the river the other side of London, travelling on two buses, and had no time to sit for ages in a cafe waiting to be served in order to spend five minutes or less eating a baguette. If eating a cold baguette on a bus is bad then I'M SORRY!!! I agree smelly food on a bus is bad (but ours wasn't smelly)!!! I agree people who drop litter are bad (but we never drop litter, in fact we pick it up)!!! I agree it's not good to do things which may annoy other people (but quietly eating cold non-smelly baguettes did not appear to be annoying any of the very few other people on the bus)!!! I agree our time management was bad and we should have got food in the day before, got up earlier and eaten it before we left (Yes! We're crap, nasty, disorganised people) !!!!! Let s/he who is without sin cast the first stone!!!!

Many shops and pubs will put up posters. You could start by asking at those already displaying some. Be aware they probably won't replace them after the windows are cleaned, though.

A note on the windscreen would probably be more effective than posting on here?

We went to Le Petit Chou yesterday to get stuff to eat on the bus, and literally couldn't get out the door because someone thought this would be a good place to park a buggy. I do despair of some people's common sense.

This isn't a cold. Different progression of symptoms. And not much work would get done if everybody stayed at home with minor ailments :)

I looked into it a year or so ago. The people I spoke to were very helpful but in the end I decided it just wasn't worth the cost just to get more space in my understairs cupboard, especially as the electricity meter was there as well, and the fuse board or whatever the modern version is called.

Yeh I've had it/got it :( Like a sort of flu but not so bad you have to stay in bed? Aches? Bit of a cough? Slight sore throat? Runny nose? Not much energy? I also had a headache for a while :(
