My daughter and son-in-law have used Blurb several years running to make photo books of pix of my granddaughters, as Christmas presents for the rellies. The results were brilliant, and the books are great quality.

I haven't been since they used to be at DHFC, when I went a few times, and were always really good. But I was listening, not playing :))

Davide runs a regular jam on the first Wednesday of the month at the Clubhouse, Dulwich Common SE21 7EU (see below for directions). There's one tonight. Open mic spots and jam spots available. Starts 7.30pm. Backline provided. Every kind of music and musician welcome. Clubhouse, 37 Dulwich Common, SE21 7EU (road runs between Lordship Lane/Grove Tavern & Dulwich College) Located half way along between Dulwich Riding School and Peckham Town FC Vehicle Access: almost dead opposite the Yellow Speed Camera on Dulwich Common (South Circular - A205) There are black gates with PECKHAM TOWN FC signs on each side. Come through those gates and turn immediately right onto the unmade track, it is the grey building at the far end with car park in front.

The Celia Hammond Trust found the (East Dulwich) owner of a sick cat I took there because I thought it was a stray, and happily reunited them within a few days. You could try phoning them for advice first, which is what I did. http://www.celiahammond.org/lewisham/ Celia Hammond Animal Trust Lewisham Branch Veterinary and Neuter Clinic and Cat Rescue Centre 233-235 Lewisham Way, Lewisham, London SE4 1UY Email: [email protected] Tel Rescue Centre: 020 8694 6545 - N.B We are often out rescuing animals or carrying out home visits so if you reach the answermachine please leave a message or send us an email - Thank you! ETA: They took the cat into their care after I phoned them, so if you say you and your neighbour can't look after it, I'm sure they would help, and also try to find the owner. You could still put up posters locally as well, if you wanted to.

It's a very pleasant park, but hardly likely ever to be "a major world tourist destination" :)) :)) :)) ETA: Or have I missed some sarcasm? -

Well, cleaning the U-bend worked for a day or so. Now the smell has come back. I'm resorting to the lethal expanding foam caustic soda stuff in the orange container. But not today ..... need to work up to it slowly ..... get the goggles and mask out .....

Does your insurance not stipulate that you have window locks? Normally you can have locks whereby you can leave the window partly open, but not wide enough that anybody could gain entry. -

I think the simple fountain sits well with its surroundings. Be thankful we don't have an absolute monstrosity like they've put into the (otherwise beautiful) walled garden in Brockwell Park ..... not a fountain, just an ugly lump completely spoiling what used to be my favourite spot to sit, by the little pond :( See the photo attached. Hideous. -

There was a similar thread about this a year or so back. I think the water was coloured due to some cleaning chemical or similar put in the water (on purpose, to clean the mechanism or something). I THINK it won't stay that colour, but I may be completely wrong ...... ETA: And I haven't seen the water lately, so it could well be due to algae or similar.
