  3. The other one is run by a school and nothing to do with the Dulwich Festival.

  6. Really sorry to hear this, what a vile thing to do.
  7. I am growing a few perennials from seed, may have some to swap come the Autumn though they'll be smaller than from division.
  8. Belatedly .... Huge thanks to all the musicians who gave up their time for just a few drinks (and especially to Jack Harris for stepping in at the last minute). Huge thanks to Tom, Max and Chloe who did such an absolutely brilliant job from the crack of dawn (well, it felt like it) setting up the stage and running the sound system all afternoon. We couldn't have done it without them, and hope you'll agree the sound was fantastic. Thanks to everyone who came and listened to the music. And of course massive thanks to Angela who did such a sterling job to ensure the whole day ran smoothly.

Bushel > - light - under - hide or what? xxxxxxxx We were so, er, overtired after the fair that after a quick stop for a kebab on the way home as we hadn't eaten all day, Nyge and I went for a little lie-down and managed to miss the first half of our own singaround at the CPT :)) We were also totally oblivious to one of the punters phoning us, then actually coming and ringing the door bell - never heard a thing. Luckily eventually they all got fed up with waiting and started without us :-$ We rocked up thinking it was quarter past seven, to find the singaround in full swing and that it was actually quarter past eight :-$ I will pass your comments on to Davide - he'll probably be playing bass again with John McClean at the Crystal Palace Road street party, so put 5 June into your diary now!
  10. What stall was supposed to be selling them?
  11. Did you complain to the stall where they were on sale?
  12. Will you be doing this again at some point this year, Monica? My mind was on the music :-S

Of any flavour.
  14. So much to do, so little time ....
  15. Don't let's turn this thread into a discussion on homoeopathy, there's one on the forum somewhere already, wish I'd never posted about the NFWS remedy now :)) Perhaps you should put your points to the NFWS, however, if you think they are supplying ineffective remedies for foxes, despite being an organisation set up to help them.
  16. Frankito Wrote: I am going to start a separate > thread on quality takeaways as I have had some > crap ones recently.. xxxxxxxx I'm sure there have already been many threads on best takeaways .... :)
  17. Wonder how those people who mock homoeopathy can explain how it works on foxes? It can hardly be a placebo effect when the foxes presumably don't know they are being treated.
  18. Maybe over-crowded because people like it and want to go there? It's a very small place, so I'm not sure how else it could be "set up"? I tried to arrange a family meal there, they wouldn't take a booking for an evening meal because they said it wouldn't be fair on other people to have a big party (as in numbers of people). I thought that was quite refreshing. Some places would just have taken the money. Each to their own, I guess. I think it's cosy and friendly and I like the food.
  19. Thanks. Was the issue re deliveries to the Palmerston resolved?
  20. Frankito Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Ganapati is rubbish. I had an awful meal in there. > Bland food, weird student-like ambience.... > Certainly would never go back and not sure why > people rave about it. xxxxxxxxxx You dismiss it as rubbish on the basis of one "bland" meal you didn't like? What was it?
  21. Was the North Cross Road Sunday market issue discussed?
  22. Your namesake, apparently :)

Alan Medic, cats go out. Of cat flaps. Hardly the neighbours fault if Crunchy went missing, unless they somehow let her out a different way.
  24. Thanks, yes that would explain it. Glad it was nothing more serious.
