Not sure of the exact species but we were told it was the largest owl in the world. It certainly looks extremely big compared to the tree :)) Very sad to hear of a wild bird chained up in Lordship Lane, though.

Anyone else using Plusnet had connection problems in the last week or two?

Did anybody else see a man with a large white parrot on his left shoulder (no crutch, no eyepatch, no seaweed in evidence) walking up Upland Road (Crystal Palace Road end) around 1pm today? We'd only just got to the Actress so it wasn't an effect of the excellent Broadside :))
