If you're being kept awake by noise, why not phone Southwark Noise Control - that's what they are there for. I am sometimes disturbed whilst trying to sit quietly in my garden by loud people with posh-ish accents in their nearby gardens who appear not to be able to speak below a shout. Their children also appear not to be able to speak below a shout. Maybe that's OK though because they and their loud-voiced friends don't live in a van.

Bit concerned that money taken at the existing shop doesn't seem to go into the till, and they asked for the exact money from both me and my OH today. Is the till broken? It appeared to be turned on. At the Mind shop, you get a receipt for items bought.

There's a funfair on in Crystal Palace Park soon, I think it starts 2 April. Just passed a notice for it today. I remember Battersea Fun Fair. They had a rotor where you stuck to the wall whilst what seemed when I was young a very long way above the ground, and an entertaining mynah bird where you whistled the first part of a tune and it completed it. I also remember feeling extremely ill after going on something which went round in several directions at once (that's not quite right but you know what I mean), completely wrecked my day out with school friends :))

I was always under the impression that tenants didn't have to pay fees, only the landlord, has the law changed or have I been labouring under a misapprehension all these years?
