  1. No thanks :)
  2. I wanna be your man - Stones

  4. When I Need You - Leo Sayer
  5. Great to see somebody getting something going, respect :)
  6. Only You - The Platters
  7. My concern would be what an incredibly expensive exercise it's going to be - and also how accurate, yes. PGC, what do you mean, the record can't be deleted? Suppose they make a mistake inputting the data? I couldn't be arsed to read the letter either, apart from a sort of hurried skim. It has gone into my very enormous basket of "filing", into which once gone, nothing ever comes out (grammar?) :))
  8. No, no, sugar and lemon - but too late, I've missed it for another year :-S
  9. Just wanted to get this to the top again because the more I think about it, the more I think there could be something quite worrying happening here :-S Why would a person bang from the inside of a front door, unless they badly needed someone to hear them and let them out?
  10. You could stay up all night with a camera??
  11. Toyshop must have been still here in 1991, which was when I moved to ED from Devon, AAARRRGGGHHH :)) I remember SMBS opening, it still seems quite new to me :)) How time flies, eh .......
  12. What road are you in, TJ?
  13. When was edfest then? I don't remember it! But then hey, what's new :-$
  14. Isn't there an arts open house thing as part of the Dulwich festival? I remember doing an arts crawl, can't remember if there was photography though.

A nice chilled Sunday afternoon with a roast and a pint and the Sunday papers and some good music would be, er, good. Edited to add: My hatred (actually it's not that strong) of the Bishop is not unconnected to the fact that I was once turned out of an unoccupied (except by me) seat at an unoccupied (except by me) table because apparently it was the owner's dog's seat. Who at the time was nowhere around - neither the owner nor the dog. :))
  16. The Crying Game - Dave Berry
  17. Yes that is quite worrying, somebody could be being held against their will. I would say deffo call the police next time it happens and let them decide whether or not they want to investigate.
  18. My thoughts exactly
  19. Maid of Constant Sorrow - Judy Collins

Sorry to shout but have you read this thread? I've posted the link about three times now. Just scroll up a bit. Each time something goes wrong, REPORT IT USING THIS LINK! They have to give you a reference number, and they have to let you know what action they have taken. If you don't use this link, there is no record of the report anywhere and we will just keep getting told that mail problems in East Dulwich are the same as everywhere else. If that's true, heaven help us all.
  21. They flower around this time, in the Winter, I remember the first time I saw a Camellia, in the seventies, I was working in the city, went out for a walk one lunchtime in January/February and was gobsmacked to see a shrub in full bloom somewhere around the Guildhall, 'twas a Camellia I subsequently discovered and have had a soft spot for them ever since :)
  22. Heaven is a Place on Earth - Belinda Carlisle
  23. Maid of Australia - Brass Monkey
  24. SteveT Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Should be snowdrops, then crocuses followed by > daffs. > xxxxxxx Should be, SteveT, but flowering periods are all to pot these days, presumably due to climate change.
