    Went to Boho last night to see Dan sing, and was pleasantly surprised by just about every aspect (the bar, not the singing). And the sandwiches were great - really tasty bread, huge portions, generally yummy. We'll be back :)

    Presume if you return it to the post office they will return it to DVLA (if they're still called that) who can then contact the owner - I realise that's making all sorts of assumptions about efficiency and lack of backlogs, but hope springs eternal .....

    They have mystery travellers. Dangerous driving requires an immediate phone call to a special phone line. I actually did this twice when I was one. Otherwise, various aspects of the driving are noted as part of the comprehensive assessment of the service we had to do.

    Back room of the Palmerston, I'd say. Le Chardon too risky, Franklin's great food but not much atmosphere. Edited to say: and the Herne is out of favour since they f****d up my sixtieth and were rude about it. If you go there, treble check your booking and if they make a mistake, don't you make the mistake of pointing it out.

    Yay, CPT is great, my new pub of choice. Either bar, depending on my mood. And a mere short wobble from my house. Though I can't quite put out of my mind the fact that once they had Adnams Broadside, and now they haven't :-S

    Hey, I had a friend who wore a silver band on her wedding finger and wondered why she couldn't get a man. When I pointed out the obvious, she said she couldn't take it off because it would be bad luck. :)) Good luck bbkings, and just go for it - what's the worst that could happen? A bit of embarrassment.
