Have I understood you correctly? Do you think they should have some kind of "good looks detector" on the door, and maybe ask everybody for proof of age in case they're over - what? 25??? Oh, and vet their clothes in case they've strayed off trend? FFS :-S
  4. I (Who Have Nothing) - Shirley Bassey
  5. How extremely annoying, this completely passed me by, I was doing something at work and failed to celebrate the historic moment :))
  6. Always best to go to the top - they chase the minions below who then actually have to sort it out
  7. Bliss - Muse
  8. My ex-husband once actually bought me a very old upright Hoover for a Christmas present. He paid a fiver for it at an auction in Dundee. We were both students at the time. Sadly, I seem to remember I was delighted with it :))
  9. Little Miss Sunshine :)

If anyone finds a copy of 'The Celestine > Prophesy' left around its probably from me. If I > were you I wouldn't pick it up LOL. xxxxxx Why have you got a copy of The Celestine Prophecy, hpsaucey? (great name, btw :) ) You could get three quid for it on Green Metropolis, I've sold loads of books on that after a forum recommendation, though admittedly not quite so flakey, but some of them very nearly as flakey :)) Yeh Bookcrossing, my daughter got me into it, brilliant idea!
  20. Great pix, and great flowers, well done Southwark.
  21. Yeh you missed it being open :)
  22. I tried to buy some kids' tights from Next online earlier this year, as I couldn't get them in the shop. They tried to make me open an account, which I didn't want to - in fact they DID open an account, and I had a dreadful time trying to get it cancelled, though I did in the end. It all seemed a bit underhand on their website. I found a leather belt I really liked in a Next shop the other week but they didn't have my size. They said they couldn't get it in from another branch, but it was in stock in Bluewater if I wanted to go there (nope!) I think they're just shooting themselves in the foot really. I did once have a really nice dress from Next, but it was in about 1985 :))

Only been once and about the only thing I enjoyed was Andrew Cronshaw. Rest was boring. Might have been more enjoyable if I was into something other than alcohol, but I'm not :)) Only went cos I got a comp :))
