Being able to paint within the lines the artist has already drawn, I would have thought :)

Sorry I don't understand, did he say he was from Medicare? How can he be not part of the scheme? The guy who came to see me had laminated letters from King's and Lewisham hospitals, and I recognised the name of the woman from King's HR department. He did not get very far with me because it was very evident that he had been led to believe by the minions back in the office that I was running a full-time complementary therapy business, not selling a magnetic wristband here and there , even though I had made it quite clear to them on the phone what I did :))

How disappointing, I was expecting to see a Tiger, Tiger burning bright, PGC :) May 10th - not much time for the painting, is there? Do you reckon they'll get it done? I'd volunteer but I'm at to my eyes at the mo.

Don't want to get heavy but actually this started out as a serious thread

I was born and brought up in Streatham. I think I've got quite a good grip on reality actually. It gets dark early in December. Thanks for the advice but I will continue to go out by myself after dark in East Dulwich. :))

There's another thread on this. Sorry too late at night to look for it :)) Word was it was going to be a Somerfield, though that always seemed mad to me given that the Co-op is supposed to have taken them over.

Are you saying you shouldn't go out alone in December after 4.30pm, when it gets dark? Yes you need to be streetwise, but don't go out after dark alone? Words fail me actually. I never realised I should be housebound after dusk :-$

You said an "online monthly mag" - if it was a pdf, you would have to email it to people. That's not quite the same as being online, as they would have to download it. That wouldn't be very convenient for being able to access menus etc I think? And sorry, but I suspect many people would just delete it, in the same way as you step over your junk mail that comes through the letter box. I really don't want to be negative but I think maybe you need to think this through a bit more before you spend a lot of time on it?

Well both of the people who have mentioned amounts of money called the police, and appear to have spoken to the victims, so, er, I guess that is how they knew :)

So now you > know! > xxxxxx They're very pretty but they're ******* invasive, and their roots go quite deep so they're hard to get rid of. They certainly seem to like it around ED, must be the soil I think. The leaves are quite similar to foxglove leaves (though less broad and less grey) so if like me you're trying to encourage foxgloves but keep the alkanet to the back of the garden, it can be a problem trying to distinguish them. Edited to say: Except when they're flowering, obviously. Interested to hear that the flowers are edible, are they related to borage?

I read SE22 every month, but I don't know whether others do - but if they don't, would they look at a website? Don't want to put you off, but a website is a lot of work and keeping it updated is a nightmare :) The vouchers are a good idea, though!
-
We already have the ED forum and SE22 magazine, plus various other websites I think, so although in theory this is a good idea I wonder whether it wouldn't be an overload of information?
-
Well you could always do a Gillian McKeith and do a correspondence course to get one :)) Edited to say: I never finished mine either, and it was a bit of a wrench the day I chucked out the filing cabinet full of raw data :)) but I hope if I had submitted it I wouldn't be sticking PhD after my name at every opportunity .......

Oh yeh, that reminds me of two more. People who say "have a nice one". People for whom just "cool" isn't enough, so they say "cool cool."
