where is the best place on LL for bacon sandwich?
Sue replied to mango's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Whenever I go to Franklins for a late brunch (we treat ourselves the day after a Goose gig) I always intend to try the bacon sandwich but somehow always end up with the Welsh Rarebit :)) Edited to say: I find a pint of their cider with the Welsh Rarebit does wonders for my hangover :)) -
Flowers :) Happy to live on potatoes if I can still have flowers :)

Plus how many pharmacies does east > dulwich need! xxxxx So where are people supposed to get their methadone, then? People who are on methadone are trying to get off heroin, that's what it's for. They should be congratulated for their efforts, not treated as some sort of dangerous threat to the neighbourhood. I remember the saga well (though if my memory is correct it was to be a needle exchange), because it was in trying to find out more about what was going on when I was approached to sign a petition that I discovered this forum :) And I would have thought it made perfect sense to have a pharmacy attached to a doctor's surgery, and be extremely convenient for everybody with a prescription from the GP.

Can you come and replace all my senior managers please? :)

Peckhamgatecrasher Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Dear Google! Could it be a daddy long legs? PGC, your bird with yellow flash on its wings, could it have been a greenfinch? Though I think they usually go in flocks, but maybe not all the time?

What is your point exactly Morag?

I once had to go to Denmark Hill station to buy a ticket which he insisted didn't exist, which was absolutely ridiculous (had absolutely no problem buying it at Denmark Hill, but I shouldn't have had to do so!).

Oh dear, hope she's OK

Drove past around 7.30pm and there was a police car and ambulance outside. Anyone know why?

Saw a weird white spider like thing yesterday which on being touched extended its legs/feelers in a spooky manner - anyone know what it was? Was it actually a spider?

I've always found the staff in Sainsbury's extremely friendly and helpful. There was a period some years back when the fruit and veg department was a disaster, and a lot of other stuff was often out of stock, but then it seemed to get better. But now it's rubbish again eg I went one night around 10.30 to do a major shop and one of the things I wanted to stock up on was their own brand soya milk, and the shelf was completely empty. I don't like shopping there since the store was extended - the place just feels like a badly planned mess and the new clothes etc departments are not at all appealing.

They did seem to have a whole set-up somewhere up north - I spoke to three different people at various times apart from the guy Julian who came to the house. I was very suspicious initially, and a woman gave me a whole spiel which on the face of it sounded OK. If you google Medicare, they have got a website with NHS and DVLA featuring prominently on the homepage. I have been too busy to write to King's yet, but I will do at some point.

Being able to paint within the lines the artist has already drawn, I would have thought :)

Sorry I don't understand, did he say he was from Medicare? How can he be not part of the scheme? The guy who came to see me had laminated letters from King's and Lewisham hospitals, and I recognised the name of the woman from King's HR department. He did not get very far with me because it was very evident that he had been led to believe by the minions back in the office that I was running a full-time complementary therapy business, not selling a magnetic wristband here and there , even though I had made it quite clear to them on the phone what I did :))

How disappointing, I was expecting to see a Tiger, Tiger burning bright, PGC :) May 10th - not much time for the painting, is there? Do you reckon they'll get it done? I'd volunteer but I'm at to my eyes at the mo.

Don't want to get heavy but actually this started out as a serious thread

I was born and brought up in Streatham. I think I've got quite a good grip on reality actually. It gets dark early in December. Thanks for the advice but I will continue to go out by myself after dark in East Dulwich. :))
