  1. A big, real one or a bathtub equivalent?
  2. Hear my song - Joseph Locke
  3. What are tomorrow's lottery numbers please?
  4. Hey - I'm in the Peckham Front. Power to the People!
  5. When I worked for a church, I regularly received appeals from 'Christians' whose spouse/father/etc had died, left oodles of money specifically for church work if only I give my bank details. These used to drive me mad until I saved them all in a folder, and each time I received one, I copied back the old ones. Much more satisfying, in fact, I used to look forward to them.
  6. Down, down - Status Quo
  7. Ahoy cap'n. No worries, I'll busk it.
  8. It would seem that Foxton's are revolutionising local post codes all on their own. This week's Foxton's Area Magazine offers a house in Grove Lane, Denmark Hill as SW11; and one in Consort Road, Peckham as SE19.
  9. I say, Michael, could you spare me an inch or two? That's the tape dearheart, mine is beginning to unravel.
  10. For the love of Ivy - Mamas & Papas
  11. Bought six books there today (cos no Book Swap, Scor!!!). I've generally found St Christopher's not very helpful when taking stuff but Mind have never been a problem. I have to declare an interest in Mind, however, they are letting my daughter do her D. of Edinburgh volunteer section there, and have been so sweet and helpful to her. In the past, I've found the charity shop (can't remember which one) in the Blue at Bermondsey the most helpful. There is a car park at the back of it and they've taken in a whole carload of sacks with deep thanks. If you have a lot, most of the mainstream charities will send a van round if you call them. I'm sure you could Google for the numbers.
  12. Wot, no slam dunking? You want a rally, go to Trafalgar Square;-)
  13. True Love - Bing Crosby
  14. Chav, manure is free from the Southern Railway Stables in Bermondsey - you have to take your own sacks. I think they charge for it at Dulwich stables. Make sure it is at least several months old and well rotted or it will scorch what you plant.
  15. Bell bottom blues - Derek and the Dominoes
  16. In Dulwich Village, Peckham Rose - only pub, you can't miss it.
  17. Tired of waiting for you - the Kinks
  18. Who shall we be voting for mayor?
  19. To date, we've just tried to get it over the net. However, last night some bright spark suggested we should play proper points next week. Should be interesting!
  20. Anyone who abolishes bendy buses will get my vote. I only voted for Ken the first time cos Labour said I couldn't! Suspect he got a massive sympathy vote, not sure he has kept it.
  21. Not a poplar move, I fear.
  22. Dear Michael, every Saturday I dream of fantasy lions.
  23. Street Life - Randy Crawford [bowing out - peri-menopausal]
