  2. Sob. The ref was blind.
  3. I once burned a tick off a doberman with a cigarette - it was right next to his v. delicate parts and I wasn't half scared!

  17. When I worked for a church, I regularly received appeals from 'Christians' whose spouse/father/etc had died, left oodles of money specifically for church work if only I give my bank details. These used to drive me mad until I saved them all in a folder, and each time I received one, I copied back the old ones. Much more satisfying, in fact, I used to look forward to them.
  18. Down, down - Status Quo
  19. Ahoy cap'n. No worries, I'll busk it.
  20. It would seem that Foxton's are revolutionising local post codes all on their own. This week's Foxton's Area Magazine offers a house in Grove Lane, Denmark Hill as SW11; and one in Consort Road, Peckham as SE19.
  21. I say, Michael, could you spare me an inch or two? That's the tape dearheart, mine is beginning to unravel.
  22. For the love of Ivy - Mamas & Papas
  23. Bought six books there today (cos no Book Swap, Scor!!!). I've generally found St Christopher's not very helpful when taking stuff but Mind have never been a problem. I have to declare an interest in Mind, however, they are letting my daughter do her D. of Edinburgh volunteer section there, and have been so sweet and helpful to her. In the past, I've found the charity shop (can't remember which one) in the Blue at Bermondsey the most helpful. There is a car park at the back of it and they've taken in a whole carload of sacks with deep thanks. If you have a lot, most of the mainstream charities will send a van round if you call them. I'm sure you could Google for the numbers.
