  1. I certainly will - need to sound the neighbours out first!
  2. And their names are?
  3. Have done the reduced vinegar way before but I prefer the taste of lemon.
  4. Loving you is easy cos you're beautiful - Minnie Ripperton
  5. I'm interested in keeping chickens - would be up for it.
  6. Lifts as usual peeps, assuming the usual suspects unless I hear otherwise. One space available - meet on corner of Crystal Palace Rd and East Dulwich Road at 6.35 OR at Clockhouse at 6.40 - let me know if anyone wants it. Since there will be quite a crowd this week, what about a post-match tipple? Who's brave enough for The Castle?
  7. Deleted - tosh post.
  8. Clean up time. Made hollandaise but too impatient to follow recipe exactly. Used two egg yolks and half a lemon and two thirds pack of butter. Didn't bother to melt it, just added in knobs (honi soit qui mal y pense). Too lemony, though I quite like it tart (ditto).
  9. Salmon tonight so I'll follow this recipe and report back. I usually just busk it.
  10. I, me, mine - The Beatles
  11. Just got round to Saturday's paper. In the "Weekend" section, Helen Lederer is singing the praises of Black Cherry cocktails.
  12. I'd love to, but shouldn't we be shuttlecocking MP?
  13. You could be right Mockney - just found Harvey Andrews and Dory Previn which Youtube never had. Still can't find Rosie Hardman - did i dream her all those years ago?
  14. Mr Blue Sky - ELO
  15. Well done Chav - enjoy your smallholding. Can't wait to see pics.
  16. Monday, Monday - Mamas & Papas
  17. Macroban, I am happy to be your secretary on the forthcoming trip.
  18. Never had one. Never want to. [apologies to Nottinghill]
  19. Absolutely Macroban. Did you not hear that the gude folk of E.Dulwich re. the roundabout at end of L.Lane, voted to reinstall a stake?
  20. But who could resist the alluring French (ooh aah Cantona)? I feel confident we can rebuff the westdulwichian charm.
  21. Macroban said: "Hitler found war on two fronts difficult" But it's not snowing - we should be ok. Am busily knitting warm, khaki socks just in case and making parcels of tobacco, rum and cod liver oil as we speak (post).
  22. Neither shocked nor depressed. My child [13] is not allowed a tv or computer in her bedroom despite "every one else" having one. Tough. Yet I do know children with said items and they are affable and intelligent enough. Who's to say which way is right?
  23. Blue Velvet - Tony Bennett
  24. http://www.westdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?9,564
  25. Life is just what you make it - Billy Preston
