  4. That is stunning. Looks like washing-up liquid but I still want to drink it!
  5. Got mine from W Rose last year. Not their own made. It was nothing special, no diff to supermarkets. However, I picked up sausages at the same time for those wussie guests who can't stomach haggis(boom, boom) which were yummy.

  9. "Picture an acoustic guitar and a bald sweaty fucker with a predilection for punk." - doesn't rock my boat Sean.
  10. I agree. It goes totally against the spirit of the cup. It's always pretty special when a small team battles their way up but it will mean nothing if real teams aren't played. Just like to point out that 2004 cup run was brilliant!

  20. My cat was chased by a fox - he slipped in through the slightly open window and the bemused fox was left on the window sill, too large to get in. Hunting with dogs more humane than rifle. It's over in seconds and the sporting element is that the fox might get away. Shooting often leaves foxes wounded. (unless you use extremely big dum dums but that might be illegal). Urban foxes do need culling at the very least. As Jah said on another thread, there are more in town than country. I've seen too many young dog foxes living awful lives having been expelled by their packs and unable to forage effectively. RSPCA chap I called to one said it is extremely common (I actually thought it was a v. old fox, it was so decrepit, but turned out to be a youngster). Sorry to hijack this thread Chav. Perhaps responsible culling of urban foxes could be on the Green party manifesto?
  21. "Obviously" Have we been privy to your life to date? What's obvious about your statement?
  22. Fox hunting not posh. Common misconception. Fox enemy, not punters.
  23. My ancient Italian recipe book gives this from Venetian chef: 1/2 oz fresh yeast 2 x tablespoons warm water 8 oz plain flour 1 tsp salt 2 tablespoons olive oil 3 tablespoons milk Blend yeast w. warm water. Sift flour & salt into heap on work surface, make well and pour in yeast, oil and milk. With one hand gradually draw flour into liquids and mix to form stiff but pliable dough, add little more milk if necessary. Knead dough, slapping it vigorously on work surface and roll it around under palm of hand for at least 5 minutes. Gather into a ball, place in oiled basin, cover and leave to rise until doubled. (about 1 hour in warm place). When dough is risen, turn on to floured surface and divide into 2 or 4 pieces depending on size required. Knead each piece lightly and place on well oiled aluminium pie plates. Press dough with knuckles to cover base. Brush with oil, cover with (whatever). Leave to rise for 30 mins. Bake in hot oven (220) for 15 mins, reduce and bake for further 5-10 mins.
