  1. Here you go Mick, choke on that http://www.luxury-insider.com/uploads/news/2011/09/charly300_2.jpg Will be interesting to see if Rangers develop a really good youth side/training programme now they are restricted on transfers. I've long thought that overeseas players should be limited per side in order to bring on young talent.
  2. Oh Nette, darling, I just spat my coffee out.
  3. It's not a catchy title is it? Sounds like you are advocating mass TB.
  4. Burgess Park run a colts side. Lovely chap called Colin Hunte (07958 284 133). It is as far removed from prep school cricket as can be imagined!
  5. Builders are investigating why ceiling fell down. They won't commit to what caused it yet.
  6. Isn't that Jon Pertwee and the changing heads scarecrow. (Can't for the life of me think of the name).
  7. If there is red on the beak, it is a moorhen (remember the 'r' in moorhen). White is a coot.
  8. Sainsbury's DKH on the left as you walk through the main doors.
  9. Yma Sumac's on tour.
  10. Thanks for letting us know Karen. He was such a charming man to talk to.
  11. Adorable young lad in Peckham who just fitted my wind screen wiper after I and a random couple in the car park failed to work it out. People are lovely.
  12. http://www.timeout.com/img/forced/30805/w200/h160/image.jpg (Had to be done!)
  13. Jings! I shall look forward to counting in the brave participants.
  14. I've passed a couple of forecourts today, haven't noticed anything amiss.
  15. Is it coincidental that HonaB is supposed to be back on the scene?
  16. Somebody remind me what the point of cricket is pls.
  17. Try Auction Houses (Roseberry is localish). Google. Judith Miller Guides. If it's silver/furniture try Liberty's archives. Or give us a detailed description/photos and the ED Antiques Collective will give you an opinion.
  18. Sachin Tendulkar de man!
  19. Just a pastiche I reckon. I swear that was Stephen Fry accepting a rose towards the end of the film.
  20. Oh Louisa, monarchs don't need to be elected!
  21. Think another linguistic problem is in the air. What is a daywalker? Similar to Belle du Jour?
  22. Funny you should mention editors. The most thought-provoking part of the book for me was whether Barrington-Ward was right not to print misinformation in The Times. Journalistic integrity (those were the days!) versus patriotism is an interesting moral dilemma.
  23. Not to worry Charlie - you don't need my approbation. I misunderstood and thought you were just going to submit the attachment. Doh.
  24. Ooh! I hated that book. She's so smug I wanted to punch her.
