  1. At least I can dream that Monty would have saved the day.
  2. double fuxk. 72 for 9. Sound the knell.
  3. Oh well, if you're up for it, the optimum scenario is this: Take a cab, put cabbie in blinkers and instruct him to drive up and down roads with speed humps. Meanwhile, indulge in furious sex while eating a lobster curry. That should do it.
  4. 37 for 4. Seems I've put the mockers on it.
  5. Careful, old bean, that lobster contains prostaglandin. Save it until you have the 'get that thing out of me NOW!' screaming abdabs.
  6. Well played Monty: 6 for 66. Barring an England collapse (not unknown), we should wrap this up comfortably.
  7. http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Football/Pix/pictures/2012/1/26/1327577144158/Doosra-diagram-002.jpg From the Guardian's OBO. Edited for wine-induced drivel. (last night, you understand, not this morning)
  8. Oh goody - Monty's in the side. Let's hope it makes a difference, though the batting has to improve.
  9. Watched it last night. All I could see was Dean Gaffney - thanks D_C. He had an interesting line in facial twitches. I watched with my 17 yr old - someone could have warned me there were rude bits, I didn't know where to look.
  10. Out of interest, why is Oakhurst Grove a conversation area? It's not particularly remarkable or pretty.
  11. Oh, Thomas! You would never have been awarded your Hostess Badge in the Girl Guides. It's glassware first, followed by cutlery, then cups/plates and finally the saucepans.
  12. Pint of hemlock, anyone?
  13. The Reliant Supervan Mark III was my first car. Cost the princely sum of ?15. Just call me Del Boy.

    .

    It's a clown sporran.
  15. Knock down ginger.
  16. Well throwing oneself from the top of Bart's seems fraught with difficulties.
  17. 43 for 5. Is it ok to stick my head in the oven now?
  18. Alas Danny Baker gave the game away today, before I'd had a chance to watch it again. Otta - what's wrong with you man, the show is brilliant.
  19. Yes the other shops are bothered. This comment was made earlier in the thread: "It's good to up the prominence of the parade for us (BC Bikes) but when it obscures the shop it gets annoying."
  20. A wheel of the runniest cheese possible. That's what I craved for the last three months (that and liver & bacon). I suspect liver wouldn't travel very well.
  21. Is it Partick Thistle's year RD?
  22. Marc de Champagne.
  23. Stayed up ridiculously late last night to finish The Black House by Peter May in one sitting. Crime novel set on Lewis with gaelic for beginners glossary. I felt like I was in an Alba thriller.
  24. For that remark Shaila Shah, I will follow you to the ends of the earth.
