  1. There seems to be quite a few cars on CPR and surrounding streets that never move, with dirt gathering around their wheels
  2. It's just marketing. Expensive, targeted marketing in a new affluent area.
  3. If its keyless entry, they bounce the signal from inside the house, open it and then just drive away.
  4. What coach beth said. And well done James, I know you had a massive hand in bringing in a much-needed school. Signed off by Nick Clegg in the end, IIRC?
  5. Saw woman trying to smuggle out big jars of coffee and baby powder out of the Co-op the other day; when confronted she called the security guys c&$ts, dropped them, and strolled off.
  6. Correct, this was imposed by the govt. Attack them
  7. This site could be knocked up in an hour, on a ready-made template. GCSE web design.
  8. I heard it's going to reopen as a lobster and oyster bar, knocked through from the fish shop. Hope so, although I loved the restaurant.

  10. Lime bikes are too heavy and clunky for a good comparison with a real electric bike. It's a shame Decathlon isn't open for customers, as you could ride one of their fine bikes around the shop!
  11. There's another plant theft thread on this site today

  13. The Hacienda is streaming live right now if anyone fancies taking it up a notch! https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/whats-on/music-nightlife-news/watch-haciendas-day-stay-home-18076098
  14. Had a great takeaway curry from Memsaab last night. Ordered online and collected, but they deliver.

A massive chunk of it goes to APCOA (Airport Parking Company of America), who deal with fees/fines etc
  16. Likely delivering patients to Kings, or possible related to the new makeshift hospital at Excell - Hercules C130s have been practicing steep approaches to London City Airport all week too.
  17. Cien is Lidl's own brand. This is profiteering.
  18. Loos rolls run out quickly because, being bulky, they are stored using the just-in-time system.

  20. Cameras don't stop drink drivers, nor the uninsured. This accident would still have happened.
  21. Which part of the area?
  22. They're certainly not happy, even though they 'won'.
  23. Inevitable, as James says. I was at a Barclays this week, paying in a cheque refund from HMRC. The chap behind the counter told me I could now scan my cheques on my mobile app - unwittingly doing himself out of a job, as it's the only reason I venture in banks nowadays.
  24. Still a couple around - one in Melbourne grove (06 plate) and one on Ondine (17 plate). No Hackney Carriage plates attached.
  25. Didn't it become a rum bar of some sort?
