  1. "I notice some trains seem to terminate at Denmark Hill too" This is insane. DH is not an interchange and is dangerously crowded during the rush hour as it is.
  2. Pathetic. Unimprovements all round.
  3. This is happening all over Network Rail and the motorways right now. Hawthorn being ripped up during nesting season. Illegal, for sure.
  4. I got my $10,000 though. Didn't everyone?
  5. Southwark camera spy car parked on upper Lyndhurst this morning, presumably to catch drivers going back against the one way system.
  6. This is how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TX7pL59BLeg
  7. This is really sad. The new lot have a tough act to follow.
  8. And Champion Hill now being dug up, despite being relaid only a year or so ago.

  10. For sale: 3 x stainless steel telescopic curtain poles max 1100mm - 1900mm x 23mm diameter extending pole. 3 x pairs of pale oyster grey curtains with chrome effect eyelets. 1750mm long, 1200 wide each side. New and unused ?30
  11. They're scum alright, who've had my big 675cc bike away twice using the methods I linked. Scooter pushing a proper bike in neutral, with the steering lock shattered. So common, every bike owner I know has had a machine stolen using that MO. I'd run the fuckers down if I could get away with it. Edited to add the word 'f u c k e r s'.
  12. Usual MO is one on the stolen bike, in neutral, with the scooter rider pushing them with their foot. Scum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4L6qRRwaFI

  14. Some sad quitters are doing this to their own cars apparently.
  15. "We don't really want a CPZ but am starting to think we have no other option. We live on Ashbourne Grove and my driveway is parked over at least twice a day or more. When you ask people to move their car etc., you get called a 'sl*t, cu*t, entitled bit*h...' They do this in front of both my and their own children. We have had threats such as 'we know where you live, we have pictures of your children'. Our neighbours cars have had acid thrown on them and nails placed in the tyres, as have we. I know people who have now put up CCTV for their own safety. Many of these people work on Lordship lane." So they'll have ED business passes, just like elsewhere in Southwark. They'll still be able to park outside your house.
  16. I think it's good. Just waiting for Lyndhurst Way to be done, so I don't get any more punctures on my bike.
  17. It's still there, in quite a precarious position. It's kind of focussing drivers' attention though, like when traffic lights are out; road users are using eye contact and courtesy. Maybe there should be an abandoned wreck left at every junction.
  18. No, to paying ?125+ for no benefit whatsoever.

  20. Its USP was that it was 24/7, even Christmas Day. However, everything it sold could be got elsewhere on the lane, utility keys, lotto etc or was either cheaper or online (newspapers, magazines), except Hermes drop-off. The staff are always really friendly though.
  21. I only go in there to drop off Hermes parcels and now they've stopped that too.
  22. It's insured
  23. Intact airbag, so valuable. Your X3 wheel is ?700 on eBay.
  24. We had this at our school in the 80s. Blew my ciggie out.
  25. Brand New Guy nailed it. Close the thread.
