  1. Getting ready for the DH homecoming
  2. Put on charge when absolutely flat, but still in gear? Then once with power, trundled into the school. That's not a high-impact; maybe 10-15mph. The 'brick' wall will be a single skin clad of brickwork.
  3. Another parcel missing this week. Ebay seller had to refund, poor chap.
  4. Several parcels missing, no calling card. This is why I always use Hermes.
  5. I've simply stopped using Royal Mail for anything bigger than a letter.
  6. Nothing on that link about Cpzs
  7. I smelled that. Smelled like wood burning. Chiminea?
  8. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/vigilante-waitrose-lorry-driver-swerves-across-road-to-halt-moped-youths-in-police-chase-a3903641.html
  9. I saw that last week, when it was just a little dimple
  10. I?d sell the rogue phone on eBay, being honest about the battery life in the listing. You?ll still get ?150 for it.
  11. Anything late c2015+ EURO6 diesel or otherwise petrol EURO3, roughly 2006. If it takes AdBlu, it'll be compliant as a diesel. Or hyrbid/EV, but good luck finding a cheap hybrid/EV MPV. mikeb Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Which people carriers will be compliant?
  12. "There are going to be a lot of vulgar 4x4s that are going to be utterly toxic and unsellable in London soon - don't get caught out if you intend splurging on new wheels." There are going to be a lot of ordinary cars that are going to be [deemed] utterly toxic and unsellable in London soon. People carriers, hatchbacks, saloons, crossovers. Anything diesel registered before 2015, generally. Shockingly, you'll still be able to drive up to a 15-year-old Euro3/4/5 black cab, which won't even be fitted with a DPF.
  13. Nathan Barley reference
  14. The new bridge is on site, on the back of two heavy haulage trucks on Lyndhurst Grove. Surprised it hasn't been tagged already.
  15. "I notice some trains seem to terminate at Denmark Hill too" This is insane. DH is not an interchange and is dangerously crowded during the rush hour as it is.
  16. Pathetic. Unimprovements all round.
  17. This is happening all over Network Rail and the motorways right now. Hawthorn being ripped up during nesting season. Illegal, for sure.
  18. I got my $10,000 though. Didn't everyone?
  19. Southwark camera spy car parked on upper Lyndhurst this morning, presumably to catch drivers going back against the one way system.
  20. This is how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TX7pL59BLeg
  21. This is really sad. The new lot have a tough act to follow.
  22. And Champion Hill now being dug up, despite being relaid only a year or so ago.
