  1. Mine's chopped up and on the fire. The green branches are in the brown bin.
  2. Baffled as to how it ever made a living anyway.
  3. I've heard it's going to be flats
  4. Plain fairy lights in the trees, like near The Cut, or Herne Hill.
  5. Thought this this morning. Dangerously overcrowded, spilling out into the road outside. There needs to be another six barriers, or another set of barriers at the other side of the footbridge.
  6. If it was small and black, it could be a fox. They poo on shed roofs, on walls. Maybe they like to waft their scent around from up high.
  7. I wondered how long it would take until this thread descended into this nonsense.
  8. Get some alarmed locks too. And a cover.
  9. Post a pic for ID
  10. They use Johnnies cafe too

Yes, it's that!
  12. +1 for bindweed. Knotweed its stalk-like, as DrinkingBuddy says. It can be killed by chopping back and then funnelling weedkiller into the stalk base. The off-cuts will need to be burnt.
  13. Good for you. This has happened to me over half a dozen times in the last few years. Only a ground anchor, cover and alarms has stopped it. Scum.

I'm reminded of this every time I walk past the two Southwark camera spy cars parked on Lordship Lane every day, with their engines running, to make profit for APCOA.
  15. Yep, that Honda CRV is a write-off
  16. That type of asbestos, like roofing panels, is pretty stable as long as it's not smashed up. It's the fluffy insulation/lagging sort that's really dangerous.
  17. Condolences, James.
  18. Shropshire is Britain's best kept secret county.
  19. Reg number? It's a distinctive bike, with that air filter too
  20. I heard the planes this morning, as usual, and thought this thread would open again. It's because of the wind and cloud cover.

You've clearly never lived in a CPZ. I have, and never got a spot in my street, and had to pay ?300/year for the privilege. Delivery drivers fined, family members clamped, discs dropping off windscreens, then fines...
