    Can they not do it through the post office? I thought there used to be little rent payment cards that you could use there & pay cash. If that option isn't available, it should be. I actually prefer the convenience of doing everything on-line but I know it's not easy for everyone.

    It's typed from a phone rather than computer maxxi. With some mobiles, writing can appear that way when it's transferred to the forum.

    After a while you get oblivious to trolls. They are there but you don't see them because they are un-important. Other people that aren't trolls post on the same thread, you see them and respond. But ignoring trolls is easy. They mean nothing so are wasting their time.

    Well I hope he doesn't mind. Last time I saw him (years ago) we agreed to catch up when I was next passing a certain pub. And I just never got around to it. I was pretty sure that JL & steveo would know how he is because they frequented the same place at the time.

    Me! When you buy chips you expect them to be vegetarian because potatoes are vegetables. It is pretty annoying having to ask them if the chips are cooked in veg oil. And then you just have to take their word that they are being honest. Most chip shops that I went to over the years were ok but not so sure about local ones as I hardly ever use them. This post is in answer to Loz!

    They shouldn't do. Chip shop chips are supposed to be vegetarian.

    I bought some chips there 7 or 8 years ago and they tasted very fishy as if they had either been cooked with the fish or in oil that had been used for fish. I don't know if this was a regular occurrence or a one-off but I've never been back since.

    Not at all. It's a way to keep in touch. Nothing to do with 'likes' unless you are that way inclined. I hardly ever 'like' anything, never post what I'm doing, yet I've had FB for years & wouldn't be without it.

    A coffee cooler? No idea what it is. No idea really about any of these poncey coffees. I'm quite happy with a spoon of instant, one sugar and boiling water.
