Theres a label on the side of the fridge freezer saying 80W and 220-240 volts. Don't know about freezer at the mo. Situation has occurred because kitchen is too small so I have some electrical appliances in the room next door which only has one double plug socket so I want to plug both things into the same one.

Thankyou Simon C. Looked on the calculator but every thing is there except a fridge. I just want to know if I can plug a full size fridge freezer & a half size under counter freezer into the same extension lead if both are too far away from plug socket.

I'm not interested in drum ones. Just the leads that can hold 2 or 3 plugs and at the moment 2 fridge freezers as neither can reach the power point. Don't know what an isolator trip is. Do you mean a power breaker?

Thanks Foxy. How do I know what about other things? Eg: tv, phone, clock, internet etc.?

So if I have a 13 amp power breaker or extension lead, does the whole lot have to add up to 13 amps or is it ok to have 4 x 13 amps plugged in? For example can I plug 2 freezers into a 13 amp extension lead?

I think it depends on what the dog is emotionally supporting. If the person can't cope with everyday situations without the dog then it should be allowed to go everywhere with them in order to give quality of life. If the person can manage to do things on their own then maybe they only need to be emotionally supported at home.

Sorry Otta, only just seen this (never been in the family room before) I've kept hamsters, indoor rabbits and guinea pigs. I don't think hamsters are suitable because they only live a couple of years and spend most of their time sleeping. You can only keep one Syrian at a time because they fight. You can keep rabbits indoors but again if you keep 2 males, it's risky keeping them together. I had two in separate indoor cages & used to let them out for a couple of hours. You have to provide grass if they don't go outdoors so will have to grow indoor pet grass. Also, rabbits take ages to tame and even after handling every day may still hate being picked up & have a nasty bite if they're in a bad mood. Guinea pigs are gorgeous. Again it's best to pick girls. They are docile, rarely bite and love being picked up. They are noisy though, especially when foods due plus they do best when they can go outside in a run in the summer to eat grass. You could grow indoor grass though if you choose to go for them. I've never kept rats but I think your wife is right and they will be a good choice for you. They can happily live in a flat, can become very tame and like being handled. They don't need to go outside and are so intelligent they can be trained to do things.

And all schools SHOULD have animal welfare lessons to teach children to love and respect animals.

There are animal lovers and there are cat lovers. I'm an animal lover. Although I would never hurt a cat, I would never keep one and let it ouside. They kill too many things just for the fun of it than to satisfy their hunger. I think big cats are beautiful but find it very hard to watch nature programmes where you see them killing their prey. But at least they are only doing it to survive.
