  1. Isn't everyone working up until Xmas Eve? Then it's finish early, off to the pub (in my case off home to wrap presents) followed by at least 4 days off. Bliss :)
  2. I didn't even know what an MP was until I was 18.
  3. Sunderland beating Newcastle was bad enough but Liverpool holding Arsenal?! My predictions are all over the place at the moment 😕
  4. It's more to do with people being mistakenly blocked from this forum, therefore missing their daily fix. Nervous disposition or not, who honestly could bear being banned from here? 24 hours would seem like a life sentence. It's a way of life!
  5. I actually believe my mum and dad will live forever. And if they don't, I'll be devastated.
  6. Go for the most expensive LG you can afford AM. They always have good reviews. I bought a 28" widescreen 3 years ago because of the good reviews and it's been brill at half the price of Samsung/Sony etc.
  7. Always preferred Fleur because I don't like Ben's voice. After hearing the winner's song, thought Ben performed it better. At the end of the day, whoever wins, I think Fleur will go further career wise as she has the X Factor.
  8. Did I overdo the wine or is that really Ronnie Wood?!!
  9. She's back! Still backing Fleur to win.
  10. Spurs beat Swansea away? I give up :(
  11. I must be the only one who predicted Arsenal to draw. Had a feeling N'Castle might surprise them a bit. What do I know? I had Chelsea to score 3 & they got 2 and Man U to score 2 & they got 3!
  12. So who do you think will win? I hope it's Fleur because she has the X Factor. Ben's a nice guy but his voice does nothing for me. Andrea has an amazing voice but after finishing in the bottom two twice already, I reckon he'll be first to go.
  13. Rumour has it Mel B will be back tomorrow. Not sure why they bothered bringing Tulisa back for just one episode. They might just as well have left an empty chair.
  14. And I actually think your poems are quite good even though my one was better :)
  16. There's a guy called Red Devil who thinks he can write verse but each passing poem seems to get worse!
  17. Me too JL! Needed the 3 points after a shit weekend.

I always rely on you maxxi for making me smile :) And yes I will be a dead vegetarian as never planning to eat meat again.

My memory is obviously better than yours. Look back through your old posts. As I said then, I don't drink milk or buy dairy products. I use dairy free alternatives for cooking & drink my tea/coffee black. If I eat out, I have been known to eat cheese, only because there is rarely any veggie option on the menu that doesn't contain it. But as I only eat out approx once a year, irrelevant anyway. As for eggs, even free-range are sometimes not as advertised. Happy eggs for example are not from happy hens. The eggs I buy are not only free range but also organic and from a trusted source. I can't believe that you could even think that I'd buy battery eggs.
  20. Everton are my fave team in the premiership. Be very afraid!
  21. As I don't know your wife, don't know why she is veggie. If it's for health reasons, can understand her desire to lapse. If it's because she is an animal lover & finds it morally wrong, sorry but how can she even get the urge to try? The thought of eating meat makes me feel sick. If she is doing it for the animals, but finding it hard, I commend her for sticking to her beliefs. She is wonderful x

If you need a good dentist recommendation let me know as I've found one who is pretty good with dental phobics like myself.
  23. Hope you will share with us later JL after the result!
  24. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > But seriously, how long do you need to not eat > meat before you're a genuine vegetarian? Forever! Your wife is obviously one and you could be too if you decided to give up meat tomorrow and were still doing it in 3 days time with no desire to change. Once you make the commitment, it doesn't really matter how long it takes, you will get there in the end.
