  1. Captain Birds-eye :)
  2. Wow EP. That's a much better answer than your last effort. You are actually right! 1) I think she lived happily 'ever after', but not in this life. She haunted Heathcliff, until he died too and their ghosts were seen walking the moors together. 2) Kate's number one. Kate Bush had a no. 1 hit with 'Wuthering Heights'. Well done, Over to you.
  3. Must try harder EP!
  4. Both! But more she 'was', than she 'is'
  5. Sorry EP for the grammatical error! Should be: Kate's number one
  6. No. Another clue: Kates number one
  7. Sorry, it's a no.
  8. The next clue follows on from the first: I think she lived happily 'ever after'....., but not in this life.
  9. Good guess, but wrong I'm afraid.
  10. I never watched any of the films or knew anything about the character until the final clue gave it away! Anyway, my first clue: I think she lived happily 'ever after'
  11. Or Daniel LaRusso from above film
  12. The Karate Kid?
  13. Batman!?
  14. The Scarlet Pimpernel? Scarlett O'Hara? The Crimson Pirate? handymaneastdulwich? red devil? In other words....... I haven't the faintest idea!
  15. It only ever happens at the first stops, eg. Camberwell Green & Kings. I've always got the impression that the buses are due to leave the bus station at Camberwell at a certain time, which gets posted on the countdown board as say 2mins at the first stop, 4 mins at Kings. Then for some reason, the bus doesn't actually leave the depot when it's supposed to. Hence, 2 mins becomes 5 etc. It doesn't usually happen further along the route, once it is known what time the bus has actually started it's run. This has been going on for ages, so the problem obviously lies with either Camberwell bus depot and/or Abellio & the info they are sending out.
  16. Yes, Holden Caulfield! 1) Should this character be living in a bubble? Then he wouldn't have to face the world, most of which he hates. 2) This character is a record breaker. One of the saddest parts of the story was when he broke the record he made for his little sister. 3) He can be found on paper, but never on a reel. The book is unlikely to ever be made into a film. 4) An icon, a rebel or simply misunderstood? Speaks for itself. 5) He has something in common with a judge on a tv show. Amanda Holden, Britains got talent. 6) RYE Lane, Peckham RYE park. The Catcher in the Rye by J.D.Salinger. You should have posted if you knew the answer El Pibe. Well done anyway. And well done Stacey-lyn, Over to you
  17. Ok. Here's the giveaway clue: (don't all rush at once!!) He is the central character in a book. Part of the books title can be found in the main high street and a park in Peckham. The first part of the authors name can be found on a shop in the same street!
  18. All wrong answers, I'm afraid. (HB, I really like your game, by the way!) The giveaway clue will follow later. In the meantime, I'll leave you with this: He has something in common with a judge on a tv show.
  19. Next clue: An icon? a rebel? or simply misunderstood?
  20. No! He is a person. Is another clue needed already?!
  21. The first clue was probably a bit difficult, the second you would only know if you read the book. I thought the third was a bit easier. No, not a cartoon. The central character from a classic book.
  22. No. Third clue: He can be found on paper, but never on a reel.
  23. Sorry, that's very impressive, but the wrong answer!
  24. Ok Foxy, here it is: This character is a record breaker.
