I only listen to indie music & spend most of my time on Facebook. I only know cleaners & shop assistants, apart from all the accountants, teachers, lawyers, brain surgeons etc. etc. that I converse with on here. Does that count? Maybe it will move me up to the next level!
  2. Listening to somebodys loud phone conversation, can very often make a boring bus journey quite entertaining!
  3. Especially don't like claret & blue. Clashes. Whoever thought of that? Our strip is much better.
  4. Can I join in? I'm a Millwall fan! So obviously dying for the biggest barney ever. :)
  5. 'Exile' by Hurts. Their first album two years ago was brilliant & had amazing reviews. This is their follow-up, 80's/synth/pop/indie? Don't really know as they are a combination of all 4. It is quite dark & deep & depressing, Which I can relate to & why I love it so much.
  6. I agree DJKQ. I just naturally thought it would be on TV, being the semi-final. I was at Wembley for both play-off finals, but unfortunately am unable to go to this one. Thanks for the info Foxy, I might try & watch it in a pub or else listen to it on the radio. That's if Radio London decide to broadcast it.

  8. Can anyone shed some light on how the fans unable to go to Wembley will be able to watch the semi-final? It is on ESPN. Sorry if the name means nothing to me, but apart from Millwall & NFL, I'm not a sports fan. Googled it & apparently you have to subscribe to it monthly, which is no use to me because (a) can't afford it (b) will never need it again. And I only have a freeview TV. Why isn't it being shown on BBC/ITV? Probably because they will be showing the Man City/Man Utct/Chelsea tie. Premiership favouritism etc, etc. Where in the local area has ESPN & will be showing this match?
  9. Best draw ever :) Just have to dispose of Blackburn!
  10. No wonder everyone in ED has so much money, if you are all quibbling about a penny!
  11. I tried Vegemite because everyone in 'Neighbours/Home & Away' ate it. It tasted disgusting. Never again!
  12. Exactly! The air goes off & turns the Marmite rancid. Can't believe Loz is actually agreeing with me for once!
  13. I thought once anything was opened & exposed to air, BB dates were irrelevant & had to be used within a certain time. Maybe different if the jar is sealed.
  14. It's 4 years old! Don't think it's a good idea to use it, especially if the jar has been opened.
  15. Gliding sounds wonderful, But there are too many barriers in my way. Maybe one day......? I live in hope.
  16. I guess they are concentrating on the cup this year, instead of the league!!
  17. This is an old thread that I started in response to an e-mail I received. Apart from Herne Hill last year, I haven't come across any other locations where this is happening. Thank-you Whisky for the p.m & sharing the above info. It is very useful to have the details for future reference.
  18. Unfortunately I am no longer a season ticket holder. When I was, It was Cold Blow Lane block 8 (amongst all the action!) DJKQ, We could heve been next to each other!
  19. I would love a pet rat, but can't have one due to other commitments. Have heard they make excellent pets as they are so super intelligent. Go for it!
  20. An un-ripe avocado? Never thought of that before. Great idea. Maybe I'll carry one in my handbag, for protection against all the anti-Millwall fans.
  21. red devil Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > A veggy Milwall fan, now there's a novelty, I > thought your average 'wall fan could smell blood > at 50 paces... Well that just proves how your perception of Millwall fans is all wrong!
  22. I don't really think that my contribution of a few out-of-date sausage rolls a month is going to have much of an effect. All I'm saying is that if I had loads of left-over food (which I don't) Could afford to buy food for them (which I can't) Then, I would.
  23. Yes, they are all welcome. If they outstay their welcome, or multiply too much, or become a nuisance, I'll remove them. But, I'll never kill them.
  24. Quarter finals Blackburn Rovers Bring it on! :)

I don't know if foxes attack children/babies because I've never seen it. Don't know if they attack cats because I've never seen that either. What seems obvious to me is that they are hungry, food is becoming more scarce, so if they are starving, maybe they will attack anything in order to survive. Who can blame them? If they are well fed & not hungry, they would have no need to kill anything. And they are living creatures who need to eat. So people that feed them are not ignorant, just more compassionate than you.
