  5. Your Ladymuckiness, how could I possibly know what you presume? But I am indeed Irish. As for colcannon, shure thats just cabbage and spuds mashed up isn't it? I don't know if my mum made it or not as Mrs Bridges used to do most of the cooking!

What is the link between the two? If the thread has become tedious for you I can understand, but it doesn't mean it is for others(though this one isn't my cup of tea). It is the Lounge after all. The Drawing room is there for more serious debate. Anyway as I'm here, my contribution: How to Burn Toast Insert one or two slices of bread into a toaster Turn the temperature up to max Wait until smoke rises from the toaster/or toast pops up Remove burnt toast and scrape to taste
  7. Would any be able to tell me the going rate for paying a babysitter please?
  8. Surely a bit saucy and a pot of sauce are opposites? The former may enhance the food you are eating but the latter would surely ruin a good meal? I take it yogurt comes into it when eating Indian? How any of this relates to Ladymuck is beyond me. Has she cooked for you? I need English lessons methinks.

I don't believe I sought your attention. The only reason I've noticed you is for arguing for a lost cause and not being prepared to answer a question. Fine, I'll just ignore your comments in future as you have obviously got tired of debating/or don't like it if someone doesn't agree with you.

That's your answer to everything you don't agree with quids......'load of bollox'. It may be Mark's forum but the forum wouldn't exist if it weren't for the users either. I suppose you are bored now.

Mark, is this fair to lay this at the door of one person? Mockney chose to leave and HAL certainly did not bully him from what I read. I'm caught between a rock and a hard place regarding this. I enjoy the forum a lot but telling one person you will close it because of what they have written, though not enough to merit them being 'banned', frankly has a nasty whiff to it. It a bit like it's my ball and I'm taking it home. Well it may well be your ball but that doesn't give you any special rights to belittle people who have not deserved it on any forum. This of course is only my opinion. If I have said anything out of order please advise what you think that is.

Well that's easy to say Jah (excuse the informality please) but I happen to know there are yogurts out there which don't contain fruit such as natural yogurt, greek etc. There are also low fat one's which presumably makes the other one's 'fat one's' though they never advertise it that way. Having reread your post.......what's a 'saucepot'?
  18. I still want to know what it means LM. I write in English but it doesn't mean I am English. Hmmmm....does that make any sense?
  19. Brum, is this a Tipton expression? What does it mean?
  20. Jah Lush Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Do do it Dec. Keep your grey hair and be happy. I take it Mr.Lush the first word was meant to be 'don't'. I think you are dead right. In fact you need it to look distinguished.I may just operate under the pretence that I actually dye it this colour to achieve the aforementioned look.

You can judge the melons. Thanks Brum.........melons are my favourite.....fruit. They are fruits aren't they? I ask as I heard today that banana's are herbs and not fruits so I am treading carefully. Either way though I'll cope be they big/small fruit/herb, I hope.
