  1. Given he was 'devout' but obviously not enough to show the other cheek as it were (confusing religions I know) this man should have had a longer sentence. This is a very unusual reason to reduce a sentence and if it became law in this country then what would have happened if he had shot the person. You only have to read the 'God' thread here to realise not everyone believes there is one. He committed a crime and he should pay for it just the same as anyone else.

Brum.....are you Welsh? At least the 2nd half was decent and Wales could/should have closed it out. Still better viewing than watching scrum halfs in Dublin having tea with their grannies before deciding to have a look around and decide to pass the ball......far too late.

Supposing sigs were allowed ad infinitum then they would become the junk mail of the forum and just be ignored. Take it one step further though and you might have a forum just full of junk mail. My junk goes straight in the rubbish. It difficult enough making your way around the forum currently given the various categories there are in the sense it sometimes hard to remember where you read something useful and you want to find it again. As much as I'd agree with certain sigs remaining I would prefer none than a free for all. There is a section to advertise anyway.
  7. Edited due to it not meriting my response.

Oh dear LM, could you not start a confessions thread? I'm already feeling guilty about making so many posts on this one. I dread how many Our Fathers you're going to give me.

Shouldn't you hear my confession first?

Well to be honest I don't know how to measure it as I might not have known about it a number of times. I once saw a UFO and they could have landed and shot me in an instance. So as you can see it's a difficult one to answer. While you are here and given the topic recently raised on this thread of it being bad form to out people's true identities. Might you be an Irish priest in reality given your use of Latin?

Well if you are accusing me of a breach of etiquette then it's one I'm not aware of given moderators have willingly advised that they were one when asked.May I ask where you got the impression it was 'bad form'? As for outing people's true identities, I use my real name. Why don't you? Have you a good reason not to?

Lady Muck, I'll be PM'ing you on my deathbed. Seems that's when it works best. Thanks for the blessing though.

Sean,if you read your previous post it is a bit schoolteacherish. I know you are a moderator or whatever it's called but as you have said it's not your forum there possibly wasn't the need for your post as Admin seemed to be coping fine with it. No offence intended. As for the quote above, and I don't know either of you, but could PR's signature may have helped her survive financially in these difficult times by bringing in some business. It may be dead out there but every little helps! Perhaps it may explain the sniping you refer to.

Sean may have meant that some of us choose to have a silly signature though I doubt he could argue they were all silly. I think, not that it matters a hoot, that anything of public interest should be allowed. I for one would want to use your services PR as I'm not a church goer but it would probably depend on my being able to PM you before I took my last breath.

I hate to see standards slipping and frankly to have a thread moved 'into' the Drawing Room should bring many more kudos than those people who collect 100's and multiples thereof, don't you think?
  23. Bit of a long shot but my niece is working there and pee'd off she can't watch the rugby on TV. Does anyone know of a reliable online site that might cover rugby, please?

I think Admin/The Chair is/are being a bit slack with this one. They will kick one out of the Drawing Room sooner than you can say............well,woof for example. How about kicking one into the Drawing Room for a change?
