I wonder who you guys think are the best two centre backs England has? Terry can be exposed too easily by pace but I'm not sure who else there is. The goalkeeper should be another source of concern IMO.

I have had a good deal of luck Mick, with Rooney as captain and scoring 4 against Hull. Long way to go.

How interesting is Wayne Rooney? He isn't! Yet if he helps England win the WC he will be a hero everywhere south of the border. What gets up your goat is that Murray is Scottish, admit it!

If he likes rugby you might like to spend part of your budget on buying him the DVD of last Summer's Lions tour to South Africa. It a behind the scenes type of thing with plenty of swearing etc. Should be easily purchased at Amazon. Don't buy him whiskey if it's going to cause trouble. Just get him whisky, the Irish stuff. Are you trying to fill someone else's boots here Matthew? A comment like that deserves some reasoning behind it. Other than that it's no different to liking or disliking a character in a soap opera. Have you met Gary Neville? I don't believe Tevez is all that good. As United had him on loan for 2 years at ?3.5M p.a. ,my understanding is that they felt that should have been taken into account when the asking price was ?32M i.e. they would pay ?25M Mind you I don't believe Rooney is all that good either!
