  1. I don't think so :/ i'm not a member but booked for next week anyway. Also, just sent Seb and Mr B off on the chqnce they'd be able to "drop in" to the 9:15 session. They haven't returned so i'm assuming they let them in?
  2. Clare-18mo- 4yrs, two sessions 9:15- 10 and 10-10:45, must book in advance and it costs ?5. We have booked for next week at 10.
  3. Aha! Thanks Nikki. Will relay Them to softplay instead!
  4. The HV at the grove said the new Lets Go would be available to download from today. Seconding the All Saints group on a Wednesday, it's brilliant. Mondays are a bit of a blank for us, but have heard of a stay and play at Bessemer Grange which sounds good.
  5. I know there is definitely one that starts at 11; we went last week.
  6. Is it running tomorrow? Want to send Mr B and Seb off, but can't get anyone from the sport's centre on the phone... TIA!
  7. Mine can't escape, although he tries to. I'd love a tripp trapp or two though, i know SOMEONE with a purple one and it's the most amazing piece of baby kit I've ever seen! BST; babydan ones just as good, so I've heard!
  8. More votes for the ergo and beco. Carry my 5mo old and 2yr old comfortably in it (not both at the same time, obvs)
  9. Hi Clare, Seb has been in his bed for about six weeks now. We have a normal cotbed and little pillow set from John Lewis, the duvet is 7tog. His duvet set has dinosuars on it, he is very excited by it on a daily basis as you can imagine...until the one with trains comes out and then he just about loses it. We don't have any bedguards on the sides, he has fallen out a few times but like you said, they live, they learn.Nowadays we hear 'Oh NO! Seb out, seb OUT!' and we go in, and say 'Get back into bed with your teddies, Seb' and he does. We do have a normal sized single duvet on the floor to 'soften' any falling out though.
  10. Rachel4; ditto with the name changes. We had to correct a mistake; GRO were extremely helPful, lambeth register office, not so much. IPS even worse! Lovely name, Anna, congrats to you all!
  11. You can safely medicate whilst bf: i have bf both mine, still feeding my 5mo old pretty constantly but i am on sertraline, which i find really effective. I hope you get the support you need asap, well done for seeking help xxxx
  12. Agree re: names with cute shortenings. I have an Alexa; never called her that, she's my Lex :)
  13. We are in an ex-lea flat, albeit not in ED, but the council remain the freeholders and it is a blimmin' nightmare. That alone would put me off buying one!
  14. I did have this and still do on occasion , as its linked to my PND and anxiety. That's right,I said it. One of the ways which I knew i wasn't going to be as badly affected this time round was when I reguarly scarfed Packets of oreos in Lex's early days.
  15. I believe you can get the single dose shots done at private clinics- i discovered this whilst researching clinics who do the CP vaccine. We had the first set of MMR jabs when my son was 14mo. Theyre meant to have boosters at 15mo but Southwark are the only place in the UK that stipulate the booster should be given at 15mo rather than 3yrs. So thats when he will be having the second jab/booster. I did not hesitate to have him vaccinated- not just for hiw health but for he benefit of everyone else he interacts with too. Also, i am non-rubella/measles immune despite numerous vaccines, sonhe had absolutely no natural immunity from me.
  16. Belle; snap! We used to play Sneaker Pimps' version of 'How Do' to get Seb off to sleep when he was tiny- and we wre playing it for Lex a few weeks back. It took me right back to Feb 2010, with a six week old squaking Seb. Surreal.
  17. I have seen five of their pantos since MOnday. They're good but I am losing the will to live now...
  18. We gave away a pack of unopened newborn nappies recently. Lex is definitely not a newborn now (in size 4 nappies, the same as her two year old brother!!!!) However, love the stage shes at now- smiley, happy, inquisitve.lovely!
  19. Fapl; i saw these classes online, thought they fitted the bill exactly but I have a non mobile baby in tow too, so anything where you have to watch your toddler like a hawk is tricky. Crystal7; sounds perfect- will send Mr B along with Seb in Jan. Seb got given a trampoline for his birthday by my ILs and LOVES it :)
  20. Disclaimer: i am Jewish, which makes this all hilarious. With Mr B and extended B family ( ILs) Bacon baguettes for brekkie Always always ways have prawn cocktail as a starter. Always. Also, mr b and family are Portuguese and its tradition to have salted cod (bachalau) on xmas eve. Vay nice.
  21. Anyone know of any? For my son, he's two and insane. I mean, er, spirited. Loves to do front rolls and the like.
  22. I quite agree; the more relaxed you are, the more likely baby is to turn. I was so convinced the baby wouldn't turn that I stopped worrying about it all and prepared myself for the inevitable. I turned up at my VBAC appt at Kings and said cheerfully "there is no point in me being here, the baby is malpresented!". Registrar examined me, baby was cephalic and engaged. Ended up with surgery in the end, but for different reasons.
  23. p.s. crystal; lex was so windy too despite excellent latch. i had OAL which didnt help. it all sorted itself out by 12 wks, thankgod
  24. yak; there is nothing sadder than a sore baby who can,t even latch! teething powders didnt do much , or bonjela, but calgel really really.helped! do you have any? if not, we are about to go and bulk buy some- happy to drop some off to your poor exhausted self x
  25. Saffron; last summer a registrar at kings told me they are extremely hesitant and unlikely to perform an ecv on a previous c/s, especially if the time between pregnancies has been quite short (as was the case for me, possibly not the OP though).
