I've just started to introduce Lady Lex (6m) to solids. I did purees with Seb, really cannot be arsed this time round. Lex is very interested in food, and has sat with us all for mealtimes for ages. She tries to nab her brother's food, and he likes to share. Aw. Anyway. Very often, she will drop food onto the floor/her lap. Is the idea to continue to offer food as a replacement for the dropped stuff? She isn't chucking food around because she'a finished/bored, its mainly because she hasn't got a brilliant pincer grip yet. Bless her. She can hold things in her fist quite well though. I digress. I know it will be a while before she is really 'eating', and thats fine- she's got to 24lb on breastmilk alone, so I don't think she's lacking in anything, and I am determined to be more Laid back about solids this time round, too. Any other top BLW tips gratefully recieved! Thanks, forum!
