For what it is worth I thought you may be interested that I recently wrote to the company that runs the 484 and asked them if they would consider dipping in to Sainsburys as part of its route. They said no, absolutely not, nuh uh, you must be joking. What they actually also said was that they felt their customers would be irritated at the extra time on the route. Oh dear. It would not take THAT long, would it? And anyway, it would add custom for people who - well, who want to shop at sainsburys!

I do not often have to use it but concur that its frequency does leave a lot to be desired.

When my cat sees a pigeon on the balcony she runs back in the house. Truly embarrassing. But. All junctions should be treated as if there is a yellow box there; ie don't enter it if your exit is not clear or you will cause obstruction when the traffic starts moving from the other way. The fact so many idiot car drivers don't have the common sense to realise that, means they need a little bit of help by painting a yellow box there. If they then "rake it in" as a result, good for them. In some cases car drivers did successfully claim against the council's fines because they could not see the end of some yellow box junctions, and it was thus considered unfair. This was upheld and now councils have to be more reasonable where they place them. But that is not the case here. Do not enter yellow (or ANY junction) if you can not see that your exit is clear. What's your problem?

Satnavs eh? Pahhh I live on the Nunhead side of Peckham Rye and came across a car round the back of Torridge Gardens. The driver asked me where the cafe was in the park as their satnav had told them to come down Torridge Gardens. I said, couldn't you see the park on your right as you drove up here? TYhey said they had. I said, did you not see the road leading IN to the park? They said yes.

In the mid eighties there were no bollards down Peckham Rye East side. No zebra crossing either. But neither was there a traffic lights at the junction with East Dulwich Road. Also also one was able to get from Nunhead to Somerton/Waveney without having to use that busy crossroads, so traffic moved more easily to get where we needed to go. Then the side roads were closed off to traffic so everyone had to get to that junction. It became busier so traffic lights were put in. We begged them at that time to put a right filter light in, but after years and years they are finally asking us if we'd like that right filter light put in. They didn't ask us about all the other stuff done in the past! I do hope lots of you will vote on these forms.

Well it's a good discussion but I am not going for election, indeed have just voted myself on my voting forms for the governors. I believe it's every three years, I may be in a better place then to reconsider. including reconsidering whether I could do a better job than those already in post!

The problem is being able to read my older documents, scripts etc, on that Word software. Which reminds me, someone asked to read an old script of mine. I searched on this and my old laptop then realised it was still on 3.5 inch disc!
