  1. Do you mean today or tommorrow the 1st? Today I believe the soft play at the Albrighton centre, dog kennel hill estate is running from 10am to midday - hope it is anyway as that is where we are heading. Not sure about tomorrow - weather forecast looks better so the park?
  2. They do treat children at the minor injuries unit at guys - never used it so not sure if you will be seen more quickly than anywhere else.
  3. Docklands museum is closed over the summer though http://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/Docklands/Visiting-us/closure.htm because of the olympics :( But second it my 2 year old loves the toddler play area.
  4. I think crystal palace toddler world soft play will be up and running from again from 13th august after the olympics, or it could be the following week it's back.
  5. Interested to hear how this works, did email them but not got a response yet. As well as emailing goodrich and heber about their nursery admissions for September 2013, but no response.
  6. I travel up to my parents via Manchester on the train regularly. I always book in advance and book first class, then ignore my seat reservation and hope there are no wheelchair users on the train so we can park our buggy in the wheelchair space (space for two big buggies). I have never been on the train when a wheelchair has but if you are unlucky as other people say there is generally more space in first class and you should be able to park up the buggy somewhere. I always book my tickets for around lunchtime mon-thurs or Saturday lunchtime and the trains have been quiet, you can usually get a cheap single first class ticket if flexible.
  7. Here is the link for the summer let's go guide, also saw loads of copies in the library. http://www.southwark.gov.uk/download/7397/summer_lets_go_guide_2012
  8. I am still interested, are you Lucy? Out of interest what days would you like to do, I'm a SAHM am pretty flexible, ideally would like to keep Thursday's free. Would it be possible to visit the nursery?
  9. If this is up for grabs would they consider sharing out the days? As Lucy says she only needs 3 days, I would only like two days (flexible on which ones) so would be happy to share the place.
  10. Sorry to miss yesterday- would be up for meeting next time, either date good at the moment :)
  11. My two year old loves the peppa pig and in the night garden apps. Also toddler puzzle shapes, talking tom and wheels on the bus.
  12. Yes Clapham within easy reach of Clapham junction for trains to Kingston probably best area. Back in the day when I house shared I used the following website always found it so much better than gumtree http://www.spareroom.co.uk/
  13. Mini shredded wheat are a hit with my toddler, no added sugar.
  14. I wouldn't feel comfortable lending anyone prescription drugs. Can you not get to a family planning clinic to get a strip? I remember when I was on the pill forgetting to bring it with me when I visited my boyfriend, I just popped to the family planning clinic and explained the situation and they were happy to supply.
  15. In London bridge - Delfina gallery on Bermondsey street. On on the other side of the river - old billingsgate.
  16. Yeah they hire out the Albrighton - I went to a 1st birthday party there last year, that was in the upstairs hall with the terrace, they also hire the downstairs hall.
  17. The Albrighton centre, not sure how many it holds but has a bouncy castle and kitchens.
  18. Through iTunes - you will have to pay for them but worth it. Not sure what Cbeebies programmes are on there but I have downloaded peppa pig and ben and Holly for my daughter. If you have wifi quite a bit on you tube too. Iplayer streaming won't work aboard and I have never been able to download cebbies programmes from there on the iplayer.
  19. Hi Do you only meet on Tuesday mornings - my daughter goes to creche on a Tuesday morning so unable to meet then? :(
  20. Up for meeting up sometime - not sure if I can do 30th as will have my 16 year old niece staying with us and think I will need to keep her entertained!!
  21. My friend has just returned from the park resort at camber sands and went to pontins camber sands last year. She said the accommodation (caravans) at the park resort are much better than pontins chalets but she preferred the communal areas at pontins - pool and play areas as well as the range of activities (if you want organised activities). Also pontins is located by the sandy beach and the park resort by a pebbly beach.
  22. I would love to know of activities that are going on during the summer holidays too for a two year old. All holiday activities seem based at school age children and with all my daughters term time groups not running the summer holidays will seem so long.
  23. Try Kuki hair on bellendan Rd open late a few evenings and are really good.
  24. Big fan of the vegetarian restaurant Terre a Terre, even though not vegetarian myself found the food very tasty.
  25. Cheltenham - they are the same nct courses - the ones in herne hill. I have been reserved a place on the July one and need to decide whether to do it, think I will go ahead as they cover vbac which I'm hoping for :)
