Do you really want to live in a country where they cut off the hands of thieves? You disgust me.
  8. We went today and had easy journeys both ways -- going there from HOP: P4 bus to Lewisham, then DLR to Stratford (changing at Canary Wharf) and back: Stratford Jubilee Line to Canada Water, then Overground to HOP.

  10. It's all very confusing in these parts. Forest Hill Rd -- ie the actual road -- is under the jurisdiction of Southwark. We live directly opposite St Francesca Cabrini school and our house falls under Lewisham, whereas the school is controlled by Southwark. When we wanted a drop curb, we had to get Southwark to do it, even though our house and driveway are in Lewisham.

  20. Dear Admin (I have tried e-mailing you privately, but I don't have Outlook installed and can't seem to do it.) I see that you have removed some offensive posts from the Lounge. I was going to copy some of them and report the poster to the police for the offence outlined below. I think perhaps that you should consider doing so yourselves. 21. What is your personal experience of Muslims? How many have you encountered? I take it that you have discussed their faith with them in great detail. I also presume you have studied the religion extensively. Perhaps you could cite your sources more precisely? I do not claim to have any knowledge of Islam. What makes you think I have? I have not given my views at all. I tend not to unless I really know what I am talking about. Perhaps you should take a leaf out of my book?
